Wigwam socks made in the USA!
Great quality! The only socks I buy for my husband. Plus, they are made in the USA! I always try to buy American made products.

Wigwam makes the best socks
I have bought Wigwam socks for years for myself and my family. I love that I can find wool or mostly wool socks that are well made, comfy, and made in the U.S.! We usually get my husband's cotton work socks elsewhere, since I didn't even know Wigwam made them. But when I saw these, I thought he could try them. And he likes them very much! He says the soles are thicker and more comfy than his other cotton socks, and they don't rub across the toes, so he's happy. Very nice socks!

Nice socks
Been looking for a decent pair of socks, the standard store brands are cheap thin knock-offs these days.Wigwam is more like what crew socks used to be.

Fifth Time Is A Charm For Buying New Socks
Having some physical issues that require me to wear socks and athletic shoes daily rather than "cute" shoes, I was struggling to find socks. Hanes used to make a good women's sock, but the new model of the ones I'd bought were awful. They were too small, too tight, and worst of all, they felt weird in a "this isn't cotton and absorbent like they used to be." So the hunt was on. I tried 4 different brands. They were all either that weird polyester feeling stuff and/or they were all too tight and you almost had to pull them onto your feet like old nylon stockings we used to wear. And I only have a size 6 foot! I can't imagine how the advertised size of 6-10 would ever fit on a size 10 foot. I decided I would just keep ordering returnable socks until I found one that worked. These Wigwam socks fit the bill. They are not really advertised as women's socks, but reading up on them they do say their size "medium" will fit women's feet. And they do. They are a cushioned foot (inside of sock looks like terrycloth), and a seam right at the toe. They will run a bit large if you have struggled with socks like I have. But they shrink a bit after washing and I actually like feeling like my foot has a little bit of room in the sock rather than the sock fitting so tight it bothers me. The ankles are lightly elastic and they stay up fine, although I would say my ankles are pretty thin. These would easily fit a woman's foot probably from size 6 on up to size 10 or 11. They feel like cotton and seem like they absorb foot sweat well, which is important in our hot Arizona climate. Only took 5 tries to find new socks!

Size medium barely fits my size eight wide feet
In Sept 2016 bought one and then another three-pack of size mens medium for my mens size 8 wide feet. They were just a bit too snug at first, but after a couple of inside-out washings, the interior terry-cloth became less thick and now they fit perfectly (see edit 2019 below) and are comfortable. I've had them less than a month, so I can't review durability yet of this Wigwam Super 60 Crew 3 Pack Socks, White, Medium .As others have said, one sock of each pair is all white and the other has a Wigwam logo on the sole, where it can't be seen it if you are wearing shoes or sandals. The logo is a thermal type of material, not a dye, and after about five washings and some rubbing with the edge of a butter knife, it is slowly wearing off. Some questioners were looking for all-white socks, and it seems that this logo can be slowly removed. Or if you buy several of them, you can match up pairs of all-white socks and pairs of logo socks. The attached photos are of the new, unwashed socks. One is inside-out to show the interior.I also bought one pair of Fox River Wick Dry Classic Crew Socks, White, Medium and they are much thicker.Edit 2/17/2019 - after about 30 months or about 125 weeks of nearly weekly wearings and washings, I'm starting to get holes below the toes and on the rear above the heels. It's time for new socks. It seems that mine have worn longer than those in the very detailed review from M. Craig Stockwell, but perhaps I am walking less than he is.I previously wrote that this Medium size fit my mens 8 wide feet perfectly, but while comfortable, they're actually a little short, so the sock's heel doesn't quite make it over my heel. That's why after 2-1/2 years they have a little hole on the rear at the bottom of the ribbing. That unreinforced spot, which is supposed to be out of my shoe, is rubbing on the back of my shoe.I've added a picture I took after about 80 weeks, and scans of the labels of the 2016 and 2019 packaging.Edit Oct 11, 2021 - The Super 60 S1077 socks now being sold no longer have the word Wigwam on them. They're solid white (or solid gray). It was time for new socks again. From Amazon the stock was low of the 3-pack and reviews of the 6-pack made me wary of counterfeits, so following the advice of another reviewer, I ordered directly from the manufacturer.

Affordable, Cotton sock great for all around wear: Autumn, Winter, exercise, to bed free prime s/h!
A nice price on a nice 3 pkg of cotton socks. I will buy again because i felt the price was fair and i enjoy wearing a warm, cotton sock to bed and this fits the bill. I think they are more frail than the old Gold Toe brand i have worn for yrs bought at my local dept store. However if they last me 3 yrs, I'll have gotten a good run. Im very finicky with garments for under clothes: crew cotton socks, underwear, etc. for the purpose cited here, I think Wigwam makes a quality, affordable product and I'll be ordering another 3 pkg. However, if Gold Toe also offered a 3-pkg crew, cotton sock for same price, Id be inclined to buy as well and compare. We all know that nothing is made the way it was even 5 yrs ago. I'll tell you if you locate something you like, buy it in triplicate and put back ups away, that's what my family does now! Each year major retail mfg and clothing industry make the same product cheaper and flimsier and thinner and each has a different version of say size 12. My friends work in the retail industry as did my mom and I can tell you this is a fact. Ive pretty much given up on going to the local stores and getting what i need, want. I just get online now and Amazon is generally my first stop. I wore these all Winter after a tug-o-war with my father about whose Gold Toe socks were in the laundry (he's 93 and had had them for about 10 yrs) we both like the old (better quality) Gold Toe and when i say better quality, i dont know what theyre like today as most things arent the same. I cant even locate decently made, classic styled clothes anymore. Its absurd!
