I wanted glasses that had three qualities (aside from the ability to hold liquid :) I wanted glasses that could stand up to two teenage boys - my last set of glasses have dwindled in numbers. I wanted glasses that had a great design, easy to hold and not too fussy to be kept on an open shelf. I also wanted glasses that were stackable. These glasses meet the first two qualities remarkably well - they are thick, restaurant-tuff glasses that are easy to hold. The design is simple, classy. As far as their stacking-ability, they do stack, but they don't nest. The top glass can lean a degree or two. This isn't all bad - they don't become stuck to each other when stacked out of the dishwasher. The 14 oz glasses stack quite tall - I don't feel comfortable going more than two glasses high. (I also bought the 10 oz glasses, and these I can stack three tall.) Still, I'm happy with these glasses, which is a good thing as I'll have them a long time.

This glassware is the bomb! I have these in 3 sizes - this smaller one, a 16-oz, and a 32-oz. I bought 2 dozen of each about 25 years ago. I only keep 9 of each in the cabinets at any one time, slipping in replacements as glasses broke. This is probably the most popular size in my family and I’m finally having to buy more as my total stock dwindled to 3.I have two boys and a husband who are less than careful with glassware, so these glasses are for use at table only. I have a set of 32-oz polycarbonate glasses for taking everywhere else. My guys don’t drop things, but they will just dump their glasses in the sink and are less than particular about how they load glasses in the dishwasher. These glasses stand up to all their abuse and keep on doing their job.They’re heavy, so small hands will struggle with these. But I love that they’re so durable while also classic and attractive in appearance. My favorite for sure.

Holds a 12 oz soda can perfectly. Children over 5 can handle this size comfortably as well. **Added BONUS** A common variety standard/medium disposable lid with straw snaps on perfectly! You can fill your glass and take it to go!! Very economical, and do not cloud in the dishwasher. Easy to clean, easy to hold, well balanced. May not be as decorative for dinner parties but still works great for mixed cocktails, salted rims, frozen margaritas, etc. and my guests will occasionally even comment positively on the fit and form of these glasses. I prefer the 14 oz size and my husband prefers the taller (24 oz?) size. The durability is and continuous clarity is phenomenal after years of use. They have never even chipped, but do occasionally split under thermal shock. Allow to cool before adding ice or cold beverages after hot dishwasher cycle.

These are the perfect glasses. I'm always searching for glassware that is durable, pleasing to the eye, and most importantly, large enough that I can fit my hand inside.Since I prefer to wash dishes by hand, I need glasses that are big enough to scrub the inside by hand. They have a smooth surface on the inside, too, which makes it easier to clean and is much more hygienic than the ones that have ridges or other spotty surface. The ridges on these glasses are on the outside, which add the bonus of easier to grip.I've had my set for over three years, and so far only one glass has broken, which was completely my fault. But they're very durable and just the right thickness.

There was a slight mis understanding at first but, as usual, Amazon straightened it right out. I really didn't know a glass from a mug but my neighbor's were impressed and the glasses were made in USA. Very well made and attractive-- I am very very pleased. Once again fast delivery and all glassware was intact. You can't beat Amazon for customer service and quality and buying American is the way to go (when we have that rare chance~). I even ordered an additional set and now I know the difference between regular glasses and mugs (bought them too!). The 14 oz and the 12 oz are very close but I preffer the larger ones that hold a full can of soda or beer (or whatever)Amazon's free shipping (on select items) and their fast delivery rules! These are the only glasses I will buy. I have the juice size, the 12-oz and now the 14-oz, which I bought because somehow all my 16-oz ones, except for 4, disappeared. I was wary to order from Amazon because of the reviews that said they came with some broken, but all arrived intact. What I like the best - they are wider at the top with a ridge all the way around so they do not slip out of your hand easily when they have condensation on them. They are octagonal so they are easier to hang onto than smooth glasses. They have a heavy base so they do not tip easily if you accidentally bump them while reaching over them. I loved them for my kids - the 12-oz and the juice sizes - because they could hold on easily with their little hands and it really minimized them dropping and spilling. They are easy to wash by hand because they are wider at the top so you can shove the dishcloth in there and clean well. I gave them one point off for durability because they seem to disappear, and when I ask who broke a glass, no one knows, so they just must break and disappear spontaneously, right!?! Overall, they have been the best glasses I ever used. They are really hard to find in stores anymore, so this was the only place I could find them.

Set of 12, arrived 6 per carton; low weight and small dimensions. 14 ounce capacity per glass, to the rim. Sturdy and solid, full or empty, without being too bulky or heavy.One glass had shattered in transit. Seller promptly shipped a replacement. I would buy from seller again with confidence.

Würde ich leider nicht wiederkaufen, da regelmäßige Reinigung in der Spülmaschine sie sehr schnell milchig werden ließ. Das verzeihe ich einem Glas von schwedischen Möbelhaus für 50C dann doch eher ;)

Glasses seem sturdy enough for an everyday office environment.Pity about the packaging, one glass was broken upon examining the contents,We were pretty desperate at the time for them so decided not to return the whole pack for the sake of one broken item.So far so good, no complaints and they've already been through dish washer some twenty times already without any signs of clouding.Had to give them three stars on account of the broken item.
