Effective for cats and foxes
I have a similar model to this except the lights are at the top, and it seems effective - i have mine on setting 5 which is the sweeping frequency mode and since then no more cats or foxes ( the cat setting the foxes returned and the fox setting the cat returned). I wiped a smear of silicone grease around the solar panel and battery compartment to better aid water ingress and it's been all good so far
