FJMSecurity SPRM60 2" High Security Long Shackle Chrome Heavy Duty Padlock

Not an easy lock 🔒 to pick & heave duty.

Super strong locks, and very smooth to unlock with the key. Very good quality. Unfortunately, I had to return, because it would not fit through my gate latch as the prongs are really thick. I even tried to order a different lock from the manufacturer, but none of them worked for me. Wish they would make one with thinner prongs, and a combination!

These are great for the price. Mine stood up the demands of a multi day moving truck excursion, and now I use it to secure gas cans and such to the top of my roof rack. It is 5 months in to sitting in fog and salt air a few blocks from the ocean and is still working like a champ. There was a bit of rust (maybe?) near the keyhole but a liberal application of WD-40 and its gone. I know I should be spraying it often, but for this price, I'm more interested in how it performs. So far its held up as good as the more expensive bus locks I use. I've has no problems with the key like the other reviewer. Hundreds of opens and I'm still on my first key.

This lock is a monster. It is truly built to be intimidating to all but the most determined criminal. The four included keys is a huge plus as I always like to keep one key in a secure facility should the other(s) become lost or stolen. It has the look and feel of real security for my gate and chain. The large shackle accepts very thick chain or a large hasp with ease. It is my intention to purchase the same version of this lock with the shrouded shackle for the tool shed at my unoccupied vacation home for added security. Needless to say, I am very happy with this purchase.This is a new application so I will try to remember to report back as time goes by.

The lock mechanism works well but the outside rusts quite a bit. Nothing like the Abus locks I have right next toit - they have no rust at all on them. It is supposed to be highly pick resistant also - I didn't try that feature. For themoney they would be OK for most applications - especially if used indoors.

This is outside on a gate and used multiple times/day.It gets wet often.The key is strong, and the lock operation is very easy.It is hard to believe that these aren't the only kind of locks sold.Compared to this one, most are just junk.Needless to say, it is very robust.The crooks cut the standard padlock.After putting this lock on, they cut out a section of chain link fence.The shackle is a large diameter and doesn't fit everywhere.Update:The lock has been outside for a couple of months now, a lot of rain. It and the 2 other ones are working very well.If you want a big, strong, very easy to use lock, this is the one. I will definitely buy more.I only wish I could get a dozen all keyed the same.It would also be nice if we could get door locks that would use the same key!

This is a big lock. I ordered it because it retains the key when open, and I have locked my keys in my gym locker a couple of times over the last 10 years so I wanted that feature. When it arrived it was huge! I was sure it was too big for my locker hasp and tossed it into the back of my truck figuring to get a return later. I deceded to try it later and Kazamm! It fits perfectly. Comes with three keys, a bonus. Before you order it get a metric ruler and see how big 60mm is. If it will fit get it. The size alone deters casual theft. Bolt cutters will have to be the giant size cut this lock. Thinking about ordering a second one. Real shiny and purty too.

Needed a padlock with a little longer shackle to fit a large gate chain. This one fits just right. Has has four disk detainer style keys which can't be duplicated and passed around. win-win
