QoR Introductory 6 Set by GOLDEN, 6 x 5 ml tubes, Professional Watercolor Paint Set

I wanted to try these new watercolors because of the newer binder. They work well, and perform similar to other high quality watercolors. I'm using them, and I like them, but I'm not sure if I'll buy them over the Winsor & Newton paint that I have normally used.

Great for mixing to get a lot of other colors!

If you're interested in trying our Qor but don't want to invest on the bigger set, I can recommend this one the most as you may mix all the colors you need.These watercolors are so vibrant and their spread is so unique, but do be warned they're staining! Overral, one of my favorite watercolor brands.

First of all these are wonderful paints in every way. I ordered both the introductory 6 set and the earth colors set. I ordered these instead of the introductory box of 12 colors because they fit my painting style much better. I paint primarily landscapes and was looking forward to the mix of colors included between these two sets. However, the introductory set now includes Hansa yellow light instead of Indian yellow. I specifically wanted the Indian yellow because it fits much better into my paintings of desert scenes. They also substituted Phthalo blue for one of the blues, but that is not a problem for me. I deducted two stars because that’s how important the color combinations were to me. So, just be warned that they do substitute colors without changing the descriptions in the ad. I was really looking forward to the Indian yellow.

Very good watercolors! Their pigments are absolutely amazing so the color payoff is just beautiful! They flow so well and you can tell that by just using them for a little bit! Good quality, however if you want to put these into pans I would not suggest it, just the way they’re made they aren’t meant to be in pans since they become less pigmented! Other than that zero complaints! The tin is very nice too

Looks like what I wanted and what was advertised. I've not traveled with it . . . next week.

These watercolors are great. I purchased both the Introductory and the High Chroma together. Between both of these sets, I can paint brilliant colored abstracts and even beautiful faces. The introductory set is a must have! The QoRs were recommended to me from a professional watercolor artist. I am so glad she recommended them. The pigments are strong, the colors are vibrant and the leftover paint on my pallet rewets easily to use multiple times. I have only great praise for these watercolors!

I did not like the colours. Not bright. Price then seems exorbitant.
