I bought this because it is compact, simple and came highly recommend it. What I never realized was that it will cycle through whatever sound selection has been made, but only one time. Prior security alarms have cycled repeatedly until the caregiver arrives to turn it off manually. Because this one only goes through one cycle if it is not heard, then I am left without help. I assumed this would work the same as other alarms. But it doesn’t. If on the slim chance that I am missing a means of correct in this problem, I can find no contact information for the manufacturer to find an answer.

What I wanted that the unit provided: Battery powered receiver that allowed me to carry it around the property. There is a definite limit to distance you can go and the house wall definitely reduces the distance to well below 500 feet but it allows me to mow the yard up to 100' away and work in my woodshop outbuilding (with unit in the window) and receive the help call.Cons: The receiver is constantly receiving so if you don't remove a battery when you don't need to use the patient's button, the battery in the receiver drains rather fast. There a lot of alarms from which to choose (too many - some with chinese speaking) and, as others have mentioned, if you find one you like and go by it you have to listen to all of them again to get to the one you want.

I purchased this for my mother to alert someone if she fell. It has performed that task very well.Mom wears the button on a lanyard around her neck and she has a cat that loves to be held. The cat ends up triggering the alarm several times a week. Most of the time I'll hear the alarm, closely followed by a shout of "I'm OK, it was the cat".

Bought this so my mom could “summon” me when she needed something or in case of emergency. She is 88, blind, deaf and can’t get around well. This unit gives me freedom to move about my house - be in my home office, out in the yard, etc without worrying that I wouldn’t be able to hear her call me. The visiting nurse was impressed and was going to tell some of her other patients about it.Now if I could just get mom to stop pretending she hit the button by accident when she wants the channel on the tv changed or wants to know what time it is.

I purchased this for my wife who does not have the strength to get up herself should she fall. The ALARM is loud enough to be heard in all 3 bedrooms behind closed doors on the l-level home. I did not have this unit long enough to evaluate the life of the battery, it is now about 4 weeks and still working. The unit is ON 24/7. I have not checked the unit to see if it will operate at a distance of 500 feet +. It is still a GOOD BUY!

First it could stop flashing and then it stopped working. Not in use any longer.

I’ve had this for approximately 10 months. We rarely need it but nice to have. Even lowest volume is very loud and scares me awake. Last night my mother used it to call me - the sound turned off but the light has been flashing ever since. I’ve removed the batteries for several hours but still when I put them back in the light blinks. Hoping the vendor can reach out with a solution.

Recently purchased for senior with declining mobility. It's easy to use. It also has 3 different alert modes. Flashing light, sound only, or light and sound combined. There are a few different volume levels as well. And multiple alert tones to choose from. Great option for live in caregivers who made need to assist someone at random times. They can easily alert you without risking getting up on their own.

Es la peor porqueria que he comprado en Amazon. Se supone que es un botón de alarma a distancia donde el cuidador tiene el artículo que suena. Pues al oprimir el botón (después de haberlo configurado, si, tiene que “configurarse”), a veces suena y a veces no, y cuando si suena no hay manera de detenerlo
