Bought this cable to replace existing data cable for my Garmin Nuvi 50 GPS. The cable workedperfectly. My computer recognized the GPS immediately and I was able to completemy map update. It appears to be good quality and connections were perfect inboth the usb ports of my computer and the mini USB connection to the GPS. NiceTQis not a recognizable brand but this appears to be a sturdy well made part. I havenot attempted to use it for charging at this time.

This Remedied My GPS Issues.
This simple cable remedied all of my GPS issues, as my PC refused to identify the device without it. I wasn't able to update the maps or the device itself, this cable fixed all issues. Consider this before tossing out a GPS!

Can finally update my family's Garmins. They all drive around with them straight out of the box and complain when the route takes them out of the way. I try explaining they bought their GPSs before this road existed and it needs to be updated but they can't find the cord. So this is what I do at family gatherings now, update everyones electronics. Fit perfect for the Garmins

Everything is perfect! It was seamless to download the software unto the device, with this cord. I went to the U.S. site to get the download. It worked! It updated and took less than 35 minutes (for reference, I have the nüvi 52LM.)
