Planet Waves Woven Guitar Strap, Hootenanny 2

I bought this strap, because it would be easier to sew on than my web one. I have a piece of beading that I did with a Naval theme, consisting of a piece with a piece of gold bordered red white and a blue background with stars added alternating from top to bottom. The centerpiece consists of an anchor on a white background border in blue and gold followed by a bald eagle in bronze with yellow beak and feet on a white background. This followed by a representation of the American Flag. The flag has the eagle and anchor with the end piece the same as the beginning piece. Amazingly it fits with the strap adjusted to my size. I am sure this will last forever. I hope to pass it to my youngest son along with my guitar a Blueridge BG380RW slope shouldered dreadnaught. I have always used this type of strap as it is economical, comfortable, and it wear well. Would recommend it to anyone.

I’m so happy with this guitar strap. It’s very well made, comfortable and easy to adjust. The leather ends are strong and secure with just the right amount of give to allow the strap pegs to go through easily. I’ll still use a guitar lock washer because it is leather and it will loosen up over time. Then there’s the vibrant color... Wow! even nicer in real life and looks great with my bass guitar. If you’re looking for something unique, different and well made, this is the one.I’ll definitely be replacing my other strap with D’Addario 👍🏼

I bought this particular guitar strap because it looks a lot like the first guitar strap I had fortysome years ago, and it does seem familiar although the colors are slightly different than those of the ancient guitar strap. The slots in the leather ends worried me a bit at first because they seemed awfully small but they were basically just stiff and after I put it on and took it off the guitar a few times I could see it fit the metal buttons on the guitar snugly which is far better than having a loose fit. Using the strap, I played guitar standing up and walking around for about an hour, and I did the same thing again the next day with no mishaps or problems caused by the strap. A guitar strap is like a belt in that as long as it works I don't really think about it, and I'm to the point where I trust the strap enough not to worry about it. I'm sure I'll soon be to the point where I don't think about it at all.

I have quite a few guitars and various straps that I have purchased thru the years. I finally wised up and decided to replace all my uncomfortable polyester straps with cloth or leather straps. This strap is gorgeous and the material is extremely comfortable. It doesn't cut into my neck like the polyester ones. It is a great value and I will probably purchase more of these in different colors or patterns to replace other polyester straps.

This guitar strap has the funkiest design on it. I had to get it. The price with shipping costs were reasonable and the shipping was fast. So far I haven't had any problems with it. It's sturdy and feels like its built to last. I would definitely recommend this guitar strap to anyone.PeaceStatus Update 02/11/11:This strap is very durable. I have been able to do some amazing things with this strap. It's held up so far to my crazy stage antics. I run around alot and play alot of AC/DC so the strap needs to withstand the guitar moving around side to side, up and down, bouncing as well as the occasional guitar swing around my body, (I use wireless hookups so I dont have to worry about getting smacked with wires).Anyway, this strap is great and again, would recommend it to anyone.

The strap isn't as rough as some consumers claim it is. Granted, it's not the smoothest thing in the world, but I attribute that fact to its durability. This strap is one of the strongest and sturdiest I've had the pleasure of using. Also, a seller claimed that the holes on this strap are "too small" and that he/she had to widen them. Do not do that. The holes are this size on purpose-- so as to prevent your guitar from slipping out. You may have to jimmy the strap around the hole to fit it, but once you do, it's as snug as ever! Might I add that the colors and the design are AWESOME? You'll feel like a real rockstar with this strap. It's definitely an upgrade from a single color, plain Jane, boring guitar strap!

Not much to say about a guitar strap. It is very well made and has a tight grip at the strap bolts of the guitars. The Red-White-Black design complements the looks of my brand new Fender Stratocaster (Player) - Candy Apple Red! :) Highly recommended for its brand value and quality. Go for it without a second thought.
