Nice hat after I reshaped due too shipping in a paper bag instead of a box. A nice hat should be shipped properly.

What was expected

The brand was the same, but the color was not as shown on Amazon and not the same as previously purchased caps. It's sort of a faded red-ketchupy brown as opposed to what passes for coyote brown on most clothing items. It's hideous in direct sunlight, but I suppose it'll fade.

I have a lot of caps so there are plenty to compare this cap to. All of the stitching is clean and even with no threads hanging out. The bill has a nicely formed pre-curve and even with the curve the cap is comfortable on the temples. I have noticed that some caps are uncomfortable on the forehead with the bill curved too much. The cap may be a tad larger than my other caps but the velcro adjuster doesn't overlap. All in all its a beautiful slightly distressed cap that I'm proud to wear. I have received several compliments on it already. Probably the only downside is the fact that the cap is made in China which is a disappointment since a worthy cause gets some proceeds from the sale of this cap and there are still US companies that manufacture caps.
