Flowmaster 842516 Flowmaster Super 10 Series Chambered Muffler

I had these installed on my 2015 dodge charger rt plus today and I could hear the car inside the store. The sound never gets old. I fell in love with the sound the minute I fired it up. The best sound comes around 4500 rpm. They demand everyone's attention. They are very affordable and only took about an hour and thirty minutes to install. Also, I did not notice any drone except when the mds: 4 cylinder mode kicked in. Even the slight drone sounds great. Don't waste your time with super 40's or 44's. You're gonna won't something louder so go with the super 10 trust me. I had the 44 series and I wish I had just went with the 10. The 44's are good but the 10's just took the car to another level of amazing. I can't wait until they break in so that they sound deeper.Pros: Great muffler for a great price.*Easy to install*Aggressive Muscle SoundCons: None unless your neighbors don't like to be disturbed but I say they'll get over it.

Slapped 2 of these on my Range Rover Sport Supercharged Dyanmic and she sounds like a 5.0 Supercharged should sound! Nice deep rumble on acceleration and pretty mild while cruising. Definitely would recommend.

Purchased this for a 2002 Ford Sport Trac. Had a difficult time deciding between Flowmaster or Magnaflow.I went with Flowmaster because of the name and price. Went with the Super 10 Series due to the positive reviews. For may application it wasn't too loud as some forum reviews indicated. But then again my truck has 4 catalytic converters, so that toned down the sound quite a bit.Also for Sport Trac/Ranger/Explorer owners, I removed the existing extremely large muffler as well as the resonator at it sounds great. Not rappy and high pitched, wished it was a little deeper, but great for a 6 cylinder.I also noticed a slight power gain on the low end and a decent mpg gain on the highway. If you get this, get it here... the shop wanted to charge me more than double the price.I understand Flowmaster lost their patent rights to this design and there are several knock-offs out there for around $40-50, but why not spend the little extra and get the provened real deal?Pros:Great price (through Amazon)Nice sound keeping Cats in placeSingle chamber flow increases mpg and hp.Cons:None yet.I'll update the review over time for durability and performance.

Exactly as described

This muffler has overall held up pretty well, but the black coating is peeling off. Now... I'm uncertain if this is entirely the product's fault since it may have been the exhaust shop's fault (crappy weld job). It is under the car and my 2003 Mazda Protege5 is lowered so it isn't visible, but the paint is still peeling.The sound is great! single-chamber seems to provide a deeper/fuller rumble over a straight-pipe and is louder than stock. Overall volume is perfect for a neighborhood situation. I paired it with a Vibrant bottle-resonator and it is just as loud as stock-resonator-no-muffler setup.I don't care too much about the paint so this is an excellent purchase for those of you who don't want to argue with a cop that resonator IS a muffler and so a muffler-delete is totally legal.If you want a louder car but are skittish about legalities, this muffler is a great option to increase aggressive sound and still be completely legal in most states.I might go back and order the Outlaw (still not sure why that's more expensive) but overall this is a perfect balance in sound, cost, and quality. The only small issues I have with my setup are totally unrelated to the product and fully because of the exhaust shop I took it to.

Put two on my 1992 corvette with the LT1, sounds a good bit louder and has a much better tone. I will soon delete the resonator so it can really scream, but these mufflers gave it good life. At idle and cruising it sounds similar to stock, but touch the gas at all you start hearing it

Best brand for mufflers and exhaust in the market!

Installed on my teenagers Charger... I was afraid that due to the size it would sound like a straight pipe, but it doesn't!! Great note out the tailpipe! Also, I was concerned that there would be a "drone" at cruise speeds on the highway but the car interior sound is perfect! Great product and with the heavy steel construction, this muffler will outlast the car! Definitely recommend!!

If you are looking for something that's going to be deep and throaty this is the muffler for you, I put it on my 2000 Silverado 5.3l and I never had a second thought.

If your not sure what muffler to get. Stop looking at others and buy these. Chop off your muffler and make the sound of America flow out your tailpipe!

Exellent muffler. Gave my V8 4runner an aggressive sound. Not too loud, not too quiet. Can hear a noticeable differemce inside the truck! Its just the right amount!
