Very insightful - high energy words and low energy words. Not often we think about how we talk - it’s so habitual. This book laid out in clear, specific ways, new tools that help us relate to ourselves, to others,and to our world. All by how we consciously choose our words. Wonderful mindfulness exercises; they were fun and brought new information and meaning to old stories and concepts. Well written; had an easy flow to the reading.

After months of sleeping in what I now realize was a depressive state, I opened her book & took action. I knew if I didn't do something, anything, I would not find my way back to the happy, optimistic person I've always been. On the ninth day, I woke up happy again. I literally woke up from the fog. A few days later, I met a friend for coffee. She came close to my face, looked into my eyes and said, "Your sparkle is back." Yes. Thank you Yvonne, my sparkle is back. That was 2 years ago. It remains shining brighter every day.

I thought that every word in this book had power. It's practical information that you can use right now to make changes in your life. It's not just ideas. There are specific exercises that you can use to test out the ideas. It's well written and easy to read. It's not something you have to struggle through or have a PhD to comprehend. I found it very useful and would recommend it to others. It makes NLP very accessible to everyone.I went to Dr. Oswold's seminar on the strength of the reviews of her book and the book itself. The first day of the seminar was a recap of the book and was not as impressive. Save the $500 and buy the book.

Very practical and motivating perspectives for those who are engaged in the incredible power of their mind to heal themselves. Self talk is powerful. Begin with correcting the direction with this book. Change your words and it will change your life, relationships and everything else you desire.

This book is a must read if you talk! I found this book to be very interesting and informative about how words literally create our world. In this age, where the 5th dimension has been ushered in for some, it is even more important to read. It's been awhile since I've read it and I need to read it again!! Recommended for sure!!!

The author explores the belief that every word has power, thus your thoughts, what you say to yourself & others has positive or negative power. This is a concept I believe in wholeheartedly & use in my practice as a board certified hypnotherapist. Create an awareness of & choose the words you say to yourself & others wisely & you will change your energy & your life. I love the index included for recommendations of what phrases to use instead of. Example-no problem. Using the word problem infers trouble. A simple 'You're welcome' is much higher positive energy. For years I have substituted the word challenge for problem with amazing results- Much lighter emotional energy around any obstacles or disappointments.

This is what is missing from any "Law of Attraction" books. Without reading this book you are "attracting" situations into your life that you don't want and you are wondering... "why is this happening to me?"So read the book, practice with a friend or family member, make a game out of it and be surprised at the positive changes that "switchwords" can make in your life. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY will have a new meaning for you!!!After I read the first chapter, I ordered a copy for all of my relatives!!!

Read this over and over whenever I need a pick me up .. Don't have to read it in order of pages either, just pick a page and it will help ..

Great book, helped me so much. Plenty of uplifting messages and exercises. Yvonne has a great way of explaining things and teaching.

The main point made in the book is that the human mind is very powerful but our low energy thoughts (usually the result of self-talk) often create interference patterns in the brain that prevents the higher consciousness from developing.By changing our self talk to high energy words we change our thoughts to high energy thoughts. High energy thoughts in turn activate our higher consciousness.This higher consciousness along with a clear and pure intention for what we want to manifest will actually bring about that reality in our life.The author shows how we can make the switch from using low energy words to high energy words and how making that switch can affect our self-worth, happiness, relationships, career success, and pretty much all aspects of our life.The author describes the conscious mind, the unconscious mind, the power of the unconscious mind, and how to harness that power.The book has several exercises and guided meditations for putting the principles into practice.Overall, I liked the book. I learned a lot from it. However, the book could have been much shorter than it currently is.

This book is easy to follow, explanations are sound, you will FEEL which words are good for you and which aren't and once you've experienced that, the new pattern will stay. Great for any teacher, speaker, ANYONE interested in a healthy dose of self-enquiry that will kick-start your life. Where "The Secret" may fall short in that it tells you what to think and what to believe, but not quite how to get there, this book picks up with numerous techniques, some of them meditations. It's definitely a piece of work and it will require time to practice: it's time very well-invested.

This is a good book, but not one that holds my attention. I wanted a book that would tell me what words have a high vibration and which words have a low vibration. The author suggests one solution to clearing anger is my diet. I don't know why that was in the book. By the time I read through what she is explaining which I consider round about, unfortunately, I have lost interest.

I apply the ideas and technics from this book and my life and myself literally changing. I am much happier now and more confident about my future. Great book!

This is a book I talk about a lot. In the current business environment we are in, the use of powerful, energy creating words can make all the difference, particularly for sales people who are taking rejection daily.For a business owner or sales manager, EVERY WORD HAS POWER, makes you stop and think what you're saying to your people.
