Biothane All Weather Dog Leash Black (6-Feet x 1/2-Inch)

I accidentally ordered the 3/4" by 4' and it turned out to be perfect. It rains a lot where we live and this is great for rainy weather. It doesn't have to dry nor does it get stiff from being wet. We have had it for a year now and use it exclusively preferring it over our leather leash. The O-Ring makes it perfect for wearing cross-wise while playing ball with our dog, etc.. Our dog is 90 lbs and this leash is strong enough to contain him even when he is rambunctious.

I actually just bought a second one of these leashes. I love them! I have two German Shepherds and they are the perfect size and weight for them. I hate when people have super long leashes and you have to wrap the leash around your hand to keep your dog at a short distance. You have no control over your dog if you dog isn’t close to you. These give your dog just enough room to extend in their gait but not too much that they tangle around you or another dog if you’re walking more than one at a time. Another plus... they’re vegan! Having a durable leash that doesn’t have to be replaced due to colour loss or fraying is awesome and I’m super happy with these. If I get another dog, I’ll buy more!

I use this instead of a leather leash when it is wet out (Pacific Northwest). I wipes down easy. It's a bit stiffer than my leather leash, but provides enough grip to control my dog. I may buy another, as I prefer a 6' leash to a 4'. Although I only use to o-ring as a clipping point for a carabiner to attach my dog to me, I do appreciate it.Update after 2 more years of use: I’ve increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars. This is my primary leash - I actually use it rain or shine now, my nicer leather leash is collecting dust. The Biothane leash is bomber, easy to clean, easy to clip to me, provides good grip and good weight to maneuver it around my dog. I cannot imagine going back to a woven nylon leash.

I decided to get a 4 foot leash for my golden retriever which is perfect when walking him in crowded areas. The 6 foot leash always felt too long and the extra length would get in the way. The extra metal ring allows me to shorted the leash to two feet when a super short leash is needed such as walking into home depot.

The leash feels great, sturdy, and is easily cleaned. The buckle feels high quality but it had come right off the collar multiple times while walking my pup. Fortunately, it was in the woods every time. I cringe when I think about what could have happened if I was walking my 4 mo old pup next to traffic. Perhaps the one I was sent is faulty but it is useless to me, therefore, a waste of my money.

I love love love the feel of this leash. Stiff leashes are very frustrating for me to train with. This leash is very flexible but strong at the same time. Also, the picture does not show that the leash has the gold ring at the end by the handle, but it does. This is big, because I almost did not buy this leash due to it not showing that it had the hook ring at the end. This is very important for us IPO (IPG) people. After my last leash walked off from training, I will guard this leash with my life! :) Consider taking a new pic of the leash for your post. It may get you more sales.

Very soft but strong leash. Easy to grip and hold. No stretch to it though which isn't what I was looking for anyway using for training with Doberman puppy will continue to use through out now

This is my second set of these leashes. The only reason I had to replace the first set was because I left the leashes in the field I was running my dogs. Before these leashes I went through several other brands but none were durable enough. I have two strong, determined at times, dogs who as puppies shredded lesser leashes. These leashes with pronged collars makes walking a breeze, I can hold onto both dogs with a single pinky finger.
