Plumb PakPlumb Pak K100BN x 1-1/4-in. Brass P-Trap with Deep Flange for Bathroom Sinks, Brushed Nickel

I ordered this product because it came in different finishes, suggesting that you would get a high quality chrome finish akin to that of a chrome fixture. This is not the case. The P-trap that came was the regular silver colored Keeney brand P-trap in the red and white striped box that I could have bought at the local hardware store. NOT a high quality chrome finish. It's still a good product so we are using it, but not what I was expecting from the product listing.

I received a Keeney brand clamshell pack matching the images, so maybe this is their supplier or parent brand. Not interested in doing the research. What I received matched the description and images perfectly. It was also available in my local menards for the same price. It is good quality. I didn't notice the extension on the sink I took out. Based on where my drain comes through the wall, I needed one. I'm guessing the original contractor wanted to leave extra room for the lever type pop-up drain in the old sink. Happy with this product. Recommended.

I have a 40 year old house and one of the original J-traps had rusted through. I took that as a sign and changed all 4 sink traps - glad I did as two hadn't shown signs of leaking yet but were paper thin and about to cause a leak in the under cabinet. I prefer these good quality metal over the junk i find at the box stores.Not sure why Lows & Homedepot over price these and prefer to sell plastic POSs. This is a good product.

I sanded this finish down and it is not brass. It is just sheet metal with a brass paint on it.

This p-trap worked well for the new bathroom that I put in. I recommend it.
