RockportMen's Junction Point Slip-On

The most important review from a real buyer who don't get paid for reviews
I stand most of the day at work for 12+ hours a day x 5 days a week. I am a huge Rockport guy for 10+ years. I really loved the Real capital slip on x 5 years. i didn't really care if they last 3 months or 2 months or 4 months because I am pretty hard on shoes. I just get another pair. The most important thing for me is that my sole doesn't start to burn from prolong standing. I need a very soft supportive cushy sole and hence the Real capital but they are not available so I have been stopping around Amazon. I tried COSIDRAM slip on, felt good but not as good as Camel Crown slip on but they both did not stand up to the prolonged standing/walking. My feet start to burn at the end of the day, i had to take them off. Now, I brought the Rockport junction Point and Rockport City play two slip on. Both were good but the Junction point were cheaper. Both prevented my feet from hurting/burning at the end of the day. Now, I am going to get the brown pair. The city play two shoe was heavier and had visible stitching. Both great. I will keep wearing both to see which one wins in the end.

I would not have purchased these shoes at a shoe store
I did not have time to properly shop for shoes via brick and mortar. I chose these shoes based on name brand. I have always been a size 10 however I had to return this shoe for a 10 W. First time I have ever had to do that. Everything else is pretty much as expected. I simply bought here out of convenience due to time restraints. If I had seen this shoes in a shoe store I am certain I would not have purchased them at this price

Just What My Feet Need
Well what can an old man say. I bought these as I suffer from Plantar Fasciits (PF) and years ago I had custom insoles made. I buy the Rockport for the thick, cushioned soles that hold up and wear fairly well. I remove whatever insole comes with the shoe and replace it with my custom full-length orthotics. I find these shoes comfortable to wear and have no exacerbation of the PF. I wear to work 5 days a week and with this loafer I do pop them on my feet on weekends for quick store trips. I find the style and color to be fine. For the last 3 years while treating the PF I have been wearing lace-up Rockports as I was concerned that my previous Bass loafers (no orthotic) were part of the problem. But, after switching back to a loafer for a few months I find my PF is still under control.

Returned
I have enjoyed wearing Rockports for years and have always gotten a size 10 that fit perfectly. It was a chore trying to get into these. Later I noticed other reviews about shoes bring too small and some reviews about too big. Went to Big5 and found same thing, ended up with some 11’s.Maybe there was a switch in country making the shoes. They are great shoes, once you get the right size.Returning was easy.

Runs half size small!!!!
Love the shoe but it is about a half size too small. I am a consistent 11 (except for Nike, which we all know is a size small). I can get this shoe on but it is tight. I was hoping it would stretch out a bit, but it hasn't. I have had it too long now to return, so I will have to live with it. Otherwise quite comfortable, nicely padded, good arch support. JUST TOO DARN TIGHT.They are lightweight and thus comfortable for walking and extended wear times. The shoe uppers have more of a matt / grainy appearance rather than a smooth / glossy finish. However the upper is real leather. Oh, and made in China. Go figure!

Rockports great value for handsome loafer - recommend wide width even for narrow feet
I wear a size 11 medium width. I wear thick socks (athletic socks), but the size 11 in these Rockports were just too tight. I ended up having to get wide width. I also increased the size to 11.5 wide width. Even if you have a narrow size foot, I would recommend getting your normal size but get the wide width shoe. Much more comfortable than regular width. I should have taken the advice of others regarding the shoes being narrow in width. Overall the 11.5 wide width are very comfortable and I will be purchasing them again when these wear out. Great price for a leather upper!

Pleasantly surprised.
I've been wearing these for about 3 weeks now, and I have nothing but good things to say. Dress shoes are hit or miss in terms of it, but these were great from day one. There was no break-in period for me. They fit right just out of the box. My previous dress shoes were a 12. I ordered a 12 in these and they fit fine. The width is good and the opening wasn't too tight. The cushioning is excellent. I can tell a difference in how my feet feel at the end of the day. The equality is as good or better than what I expected. The leather is a good thickness and the stitching doesn't look bad either. I'm just amazed at how they fit and how comfortable they've been. This was a great purchase, hence my taking the time to write a review.

Great Loafers for Wide Feet
Really liking these loafers, hoping they don't suffer the sole peeling off problem that's been reported often in recent years (although easy enough to fix if it happens.)I have really wide feet (used to be DDD now E or EE at least) and these are plenty wide on the sides and comfortable in the toe. Doubt they'll rip out like most of the "wide" shoes I buy, The leather material is soft, nice looking and so far water-resistant. Not much arch support but that's normal for loafers.Really great price as well. Perfect for wearing around the house.

Rockport makes a comfortable shoe.
I had this exact pair for over 2 years prior to recently purchasing another pair through Amazon. They are so comfortable. I use them more as a casual everyday shoe but could also wear them as a dress shoe. At about the same time as I purchased these, I bought a pair of Skechers with thicker heavier grips on the soles but because the Rockport's don't have that extra thickness or weight they are for me a little lighter and more comfortable. Both shoes serve their purpose but I do love my Rockport's for their comfort.

Rockport not what it used to be
Leather is very stiff and back rubs against ankle runs small especially if your feet have high arches had to change to thiner insoles . I also got a pair of Dockers same style and size which fit much better much more pliable and were much cheaper 😅. I am disappointed with Rockport quality i guess they don't make them like they used to.

COMFORT!!
Purchased these shoes for my son who unfortunately has issues not only with his feet but with getting proper support of EASE finding decent comfortable shoes. Wasn't sure how these shoes would be for his feet but I took a chance with these men's ROCKPORT shoes and I am extremely grateful that I did! Great comfortable shoes and he has never made one negative comment in regard to these shoes! Just recently mentioned to him that I would purchase another pair for him and needless to say, he was pleased.

Literally the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned
Fantastic quality, and the comfort - normally I need to break a leather shoe in a bit, not these. Perfect fit, ideal comfort. I won't buy any other brand from now on.
