Easy to assemble, guests take note of it. Angular momentum okay, rotational friction okay. Swivel not very functional but just ok

The media could not be loaded. Made in USA and you can tell its built to last. Engineering is my profession, so this review is technical, however its quality parts. A machined steel hub, pressed in sealed roller bearings, fully mig welded braces, and a 1/2 steel shaft. The blades are stamped galvanized and hub is jig welded tube steel. All hardware is zinc plated and hub painted to last for years. Deduct one star for the quirky instructions. They are thorough, but overcomplicated. Lumber list is from 12' lengths which isn't always stocked or won't fit in truck bed, so you need to recalculate cut pieces from 8' stock else you have lots of scrap. Also, 4x4 timber really measures 3.5" so all miter cuts are off in templates. You need 136 screws not 100..I added 12" to legs for leveling legs on a hill, so it can be made taller in height if desired.. Quiggles aside,, This isnt the cheap Harborstate China made kit. Its beautiful, spins with the lightest breeze.. wife loves her mill by the pool.

The media could not be loaded. We already had an 8 foot metal tower we wanted to repurpose so this was the perfect addition. I was very impressed with this product, and how QUICKLY it shipped as well! Much faster than I expected. The material is very sturdy, heavy thick metal and it looks like it will stand up to the elements well in our harsh MN climate. My husband welded a couple pieces so it fit with our metal tower. We will enjoy this for years to come!

The company that builds the windmills is in my hometown and my dad works down the street from them. He drives past them everyday and mentioned he wanted one for his b-day . Within the hour I had found a head kit and ordered it on Amazon. Besides I figured it would be better to build it myself instead of buying a whole assembled one in town. Head kit was pretty easy to assemble and the instructions for building the tower were easy to read and understand. Great product overall.

My husband built a wooden 14' tower (stained) for the Windmill Fan Kit and a wooden platform anchored in concrete and secured with anchor bolts. We have some strong winds occasionally in OK. It is a delightful addition to our rustic back yard in out of town community. We got positive comments from our neighbors.
