Transform any shoe into a dance shoe
This was a fun project I did with my niece. We cut and stuck the suede on some ballet-type shoes to make them into dance shoes. I’ve already used mine a couple a times for ballroom dancing and they work great. There is enough included for two pairs of shoes. I just reordered to do another pair of shoes. I’ll write again if the adhesive doesn’t last, but so far so good!

Wish it was a bit thicker.
I use this for the soles of my ballroom dancing shoes. The adhesive isn’t strong enough but I use that 6000 glue and it works fine. Would be nicer if it were thicker.

Game changer for inside the shoe as well?
This is has totally changed my life. I can never wear heels or sandals without my feet sliding through them. My feet are always very sweaty and slip through almost all of the shoes I want to wear. So I end up having to wear sneakers or closed toed shoes. This has been a game changer. I wanted to wear heels to a wedding. I live in a hot climate so I didn’t want my sweaty feet sliding around. I bought these traces the inside of the heel and cut them out with an exacto knife. Placed them in the inside of the shoe. I had so much confidence that day because I was finally able to wear any shoes I want now. I’ve order more and will be putting them in all my sandals or open toed shoes. It also made the shoes a little more cushioned and comfortable. I can’t believe I didn’t think of this sooner. I will now be off to buy more shoes that I’ve always wanted to wear:)

The old dance shoes still have some practice left in them
Used these on old men's dance shoes (old as in have holes in them and the lining is mostly gone): just stuck them on top of the old worn out suede sole. (Which has been already replaced by a professional a couple of times, when the shoes were more presentable.) The process was pretty intuitive, and I feel like it was easy to adjust whenever things were slightly off. Tried practicing for an evening and everything works as it should: the sole stays in place, pivots are smooth, brushing the sole afterwards returns it to its normal state etc. Don't know how long the suede would last, but quite happy with it so far, and ready to try this with actual dance shoes.

Perfect for my sneakers
Started salsa dancing but don’t like dress shoes. These help me spin on the dance floor very nicely in my sneakers. I have danced with these shoes 3 times and they are in good shape so far.Edit: 10 days at the dance studio and club and still looks fairly new. Also I walk to the club on then sometimes.

Did the trick for one evening of dancing
With two days to go before a 20s dance event, I remembered that the shoes I wanted to wear had very, very unslippery treads on the bottoms, which would not work with trying to do the Charleston. I had planned to try duct tape or masking tape, but I know from experience that doesn't work so well. Searching on Amazon came up with this product. My order arrived in two days. With everything thing else I had going on, I literally left it until the last 10 minutes to try the shoe suede. I quickly sprayed and wiped off the soles of the shoes (no wire brush available) with cleaner. I traced the rough size needed and cut out two ovals. I adhered them as instructed, hoping I didn't have the rare kind of sole that it doesn't stick to. I tested it a little bit, crossed my fingers and went out. I wore the shoes for over 4 hours, and danced for at least 2, and the soles stayed on the entire time without moving. They provided just the right amount of glide without being dangerously slippery. This was not on a studio-quality hardwood floor. It was a typical tile museum floor. By cutting only the oval size I needed, I should be able to use this sheet for several pair of shoes, so I hope to cost-effectively use this sheet. Two drawbacks are the moderate odor of this sheet (it is suede after all) before you put it on your shoes, and the cost. Half or 2/3 the cost of this sheet would be more acceptable for just one IMO. I don't wear these shoes for dancing very often, so I probably won't be able to comment on how long the suede stays on or lasts, but one night was what I needed. I can't say about this particular product, I see no reason right now why it wouldn't, but I don't really expect anything DIY to be able to last on the bottom of a pair of shoes - I would be very impressed if this lasted longer than a few wearings with repeated dancing. I'll update if there are any changes to my review.

Great product, great customer service!
I love this product, it really worked like a charm on my slippery character shoes. They were not difficult for me to apply, even on a last minute 1:00 am first-time attempt! I really recommend making a paper pattern of your shoe, rather than just tracing onto the suede though. The first shoe I just traced, and it worked fine, but it was a little hard to trace the arch of the shoe. The second shoe, I made a pattern, and that shoe came out cobbler perfect. On the first shoe, the edges were slightly rougher, but not enough to make even a perfectionist like me re do it ;) I followed the instructions to wear them a little and put weight on the new sole, and they held up perfectly to 4 hours of vigorous contra dance the next day. They really look great, too - just like a new fresh pair of shoes :) These character shoes had been sitting on my shelf since my first sad time of trying to dance in them, the slick sole was downright hazardous to my health! Now, with my new suede soles, they are perfect. I saved the pattern so I am good to go whenever I need to replace the sole. I bought the 3-pack, since it was such a better deal financially, and I have a great note about the seller. When my order promptly arrived, I was dismayed to see only 2 sheets of suede in the pack marked 3 pack. I had a sinking feeling, since the company would really just have to take my word on it, and I had waited several weeks before I opened the pack. To my great pleasure, the owner answered my email the very same day apologizing for the error, and said she would replace it. I received the missing sheet of suede in the mail a few days later. I was so pleased with how simple and perfect this stick on suede worked I would have favorably reviewed it anyway, but the customer service I received was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Perfect on my sneakers!
I stuck 1 piece onto my pair of Nike sneakers (which has a lot of ripples and grooves) and it has stuck nicely. I now dance in 100% comfort 5 days a week thanks to these and it has saved my feet as no dance shoes fit my wide feet.

Easy to use
I used this product for my dancing shoes. The product was easy to use after googling how to add suede soles DIY on YouTube.
