Dinnerware Set 18-piece Opal Dishes Sets Service for 6 Plates Bowls 6" Break and Crack Resistant Dish Sets Round

I got this set to be a “filler” to an expensive corelle Portuguese pattern I LOVE so the gloss white gives me enough plates bowls and small plates without the whopping price tag of a second Name brand patterned set. And what doesn’t a glossy white go with?I would recommend that to others too because this opal set is basically a clone to corelle. The plates are slightly larger than corelle by just a slight tad but very lightweight and shaped just like them. So you could easily pick a great corelle pattern ( I found some really amazing ones on Amazon) and then replace a second set with this coordinated set in white. It gives you a nice contrast to have a pattern plate with a opal white glossy appetizer plate and a patterned bowl on top…. Aesthetics on a budget!I got a set for my Mom and she loved them too and we BOTH agreed the bowls in this set are smaller but shaped BETTER than corelle. We both love our sets and we both purchased “open box” option with no issues and no broken pieces… saved $15.The high gloss of these dishes is yummy and make a very chic backdrop to your beautiful meal creations! In some ways I like this set more than corelle but I only just got these but will update with progressive wear observations.If you’re on the fence…. Go for it you won’t regret having this set on hand!Update: I have had these around for a while and have gotten some good use out of them and they’re still like new. No breaks, scratches (even from steak knives) or chips. Great in dishwasher no issues! We love them! I can say with confidence now… Definitely Buy them!

This set is wonderful and meeting the needs of our growing family. We opted for Danmers because they're lightweight and supposed to be non breakable. My 3yr old tested them by throwing them on our hardwood floor when I told him they weren't breakable. Im happy to say the first two throws were a success. The third throw (with hearty vigor) crashed and shattered. This was only because he threw it as hard as he could on a wood floor. It did survive the first 2 throws. They deserve 5 stars for that. If you're anticipating lots of dropping with small kids, these will pass the test. If you have a destructive one like mine, maybe not. Proud to say there have been no more broken dishes since the throwing incident! I would definitely recommend these dishes to everyone. They are a nice shiny white and very easy to clean and stack nicely on top of our microwave. Lets face it...with 3 kids under 3, the microwave gets used alot and these pass the test! Thankful I found them!

Will chip or break or shatter if dropped. Had ours for a few years now, and this family is really hard on dinnerware. I thought I might get these because I thought they would be super durable vitrelle type tableware. All of our bowls now have chipped edges, all but two of our dinner platters have shattered from being dropped on a wood floor. As long as you don’t abuse, them, or try to pack them a too tight in a dishwasher, they hold up just fine. Apparently my husband likes to put plate fulls of food on top of his car and drive off. Every plate he has done this to has shattered on the road. If you can resist the strong temptation of doing the same thing, you will probably be fine with this set.

I had stoneware and loved it but as I aged it got harder to put up and get down in the cupboard, especially if I had to lift more than one.I bought these and they are beautiful, perfect number I need. They go in the microwave and dishwasher so are functional in that sense.

Versatile and good quality.

I thought that I had purchased dishes that were easy to stack and pop in the dishwasher easily. They stack nicely, the chip constantly, they are thin, very thin and when they break I have to go to the ER to have the shards removed from my hands. I didn't have them 2 months and today I had my husband put them in the trash. Cannot even donate them because I would not want anyone else to have bloody hands. Spend a little more and purchase ceramic.

Love how they look and they are nice n light!After using them a few times, 2 of the dinner plates have cracked. Not holding up to very light use. Now disappointed.

Love the shape - even plates are deep and handle ‘juicy’ dishes. Like the size of the bowls. Very sturdy.
