Install and set up was easy. Used this weekend for a camping trip. Operated smoothly.

Works well with my new 18ft 10000lb trailer that has Dexter breaks on it very adjustable from no breaking to the loaded trailer doing all the stoping with the truck in neutral time will tell how well it holds up works good on my first few trail runs

When purchasing this I didn't see a restocking fee for the product. Didn't even open the box

I purchased this controller after jackknifing a tandem axle trailer on a downhill roll. Installation was easy and the directions included were straight forward. This unit can be adjusted for load/braking bias andthe manual override can provide some needed control during poor weather allowing the trailer to apply braking effort. The output is measured in volts applied to the wheel magnets. This function can be "preset" with the thumbwheel to match braking effort desired, or with the slider if more effort is needed in a hurry. I have had this particular controller in a Chev Suburban, and a GMC Sprint. It works great. It is easy to install. When adjusted correctly at load out, it will perform flawlessly. From soft and progressive to Panic stopping, you will be driving with greater confidence and soooo much safer. My DX2 has been in continuous service for over 7 years. It is a well made, easy to use device.

Had a flaw, yet I had to pay for postage to and from. Tech made it sound complicated to hook up, yet four wires only. Come on, I'll get a different brand next order.
