ATZEBEDisplayPort Cable -10m, Fibre Optic DisplayPort Cable 1.4 Support 8K@60Hz, 4K@144Hz, HDR, 3D, High Speed 32.4 Gbps, HBR3, HDCP 2.2

I moved my PC to the living room last year and so bought a Amazon Basics 10m HDMI cable as I had a rather old 24" 1080p 60hz monitor at the time, which did not have DisplayPort. A few months ago I upgraded to a 32" 1440p 144hz Freesync monitor. The HDMI cable was unfortunately only able to cope with 100hz at 1440p, and as I am running an nvidia card and HDMI, this also meant that I could not enable Freesync.Having looked around for long length DisplayPort cables I eventually bought this. I was a bit hesitant as, well, compared to anything else that I could find this cable is actually quite cheap, and I tend to shy away from cheap stuff as it's generally cheap for a reason.However, it arrived today and I dragged it across the house to test it and make sure it worked before clambering around in the loft, and sure enough it works flawlessly! I'm no cable expert but it actually looks a quality product as well.It arrived coiled up in a relatively small box, with a couple of reusable velcro ties. The plug ends are a nicely polished metal (I think they claim zinc?) and are unexpectedly weighty - they get slightly warm in use so I assume this probably also acts as heatsinking for the electronics. The cable itself is very thin and flexible. It did want to retain its coiled up shape but I doubt this is a problem and it would stretch out straight if needed. I only actually need just over 10m of it, so I handled it very delicately and just let it lay however it wanted to lay. It is much thinner and more flexible than the chunky HDMI cable that it is replacing - probably no thicker than your average USB charging cable.Only time will tell if it actually lasts, but I'm feeling confident after the initial impressions!

The DP cable is hooked up to a 1440p 144mhz Gsync screen up stairs I got the 20m version, cheapest optical DP I could find and it works great

For the price you’d expect a reliable cable, but after 3 months it’s already stopped working. Shocking at this price point.

Initially I bought a different cable, as there seem to be various of these same cables that appear to be simple rebrands of the same white-label product. However, even though this cable looks like the exact same product, outside from some of the branding printed on the cable, this one actually worked for me.If you're looking to extend the length of your Valve Index cable, I can confirm this one worked for me!

Este es el segundo cable que compro de esta marca, el primero era un HDMI de 10metros pero al cambiar de monitor y querer aprovechar ciertas características he optado por cambiarlo por este de Displayport de 15metros y 0 problemas. Ha sido conectarlo y disfrutar de todas sus ventajas.Con la experiencia que tengo del cable anterior, seguro que me va a durar mucho tiempo y sin problemas.

I purchased this along with 3 other DisplayPort and USB extenders (and a DisplayPort coupler) to try to extend the display for my Valve Index. My tests were NOT exhaustive, but all 4 of the options worked.In addition to reviewing this product, I'm also detailing the other options I tested, including price. For anyone else looking to extend their VR system, I hope this helps.In all cases there was no discernable loss of visual or audio fidelity or dropping of frames. Cable length doesn't introduce lag/latency, so no worries there. But ONLY the active DP connector successfully transmitted the signal to the headset successfully / without snow.THIS PRODUCT:DisplayPort (10m) ($98.99) - ATZEBE Fiber Displayport Cable 30ft, Fiber Optic Displayport 1.4. This cable diameter is remarkably small, but it performed equally to the 5m LINKUP cable with a wider gauge. The connectors / cable heads produced heat as soon as the cable began transmitting data. This may be by design for thermal management; but if it's not by design this could be problematic. Other than that the cable seems to work perfectly.OTHER PRODUCTS:DisplayPort (5m) ($39.96) - [LINKUP] DisplayPort DP8K DP1.4 Cable (VESA Certified). This cable is kinda thick and very well built. It did the job.USB (10m) ($35.99) - Cable Matters Active USB Extension Cable Male to Female. This worked to extend the VR range even without being plugged in. Note that a power adaptor is NOT included, which legit sucks. But thankfully the Index worked fine without the power boost.USB (5m) ($15.99) - CableCreation Active USB Extension Cable (Long 16.4 FT). Works great, as expected.DP connector (0m) ($19.99) - Cable Matters DisplayPort Repeater (DisplayPort Signal Booster, DisplayPort Amplifier). This successfully extended the signal an extra 10m for my Valve Index headset.DP connector (0m) ($11.99) - Cable Matters 2-Pack DisplayPort to DisplayPort Coupler.
