ATack Carpet Tape for Area Rugs and Carpets, Removable, 2 Inches x 20 Yards, Ideal for Stair Treads, Rugs, Carpets Over Carpets or Delicate Hardwood Floors

I bought this tap to reseal a stair runner that kept coming up in my apartment. It's been about 2 months of daily use and the runner is still sticking on exactly as expected. Not even the slightest hint of give.

The media could not be loaded. This stuff works perfect! I am super happy with how easy it was to apply, and so far it is doing a great job of keeping the corners/sides of my rugs down where I applied it. You can put it directly on the floor (and it’s still easy to remove) or between a carpet and a non-slip pad. MY ONE WARNING is that I would be careful about applying it to expensive rugs, because I had to reapply some (it was crooked and bothering me) and when I took it off the bottom of my rug it started ripping the plush through the hard plastic mesh on the bottom. I don’t really care because I have cheap rugs but if you have really nice ones I would be careful about direct application. Overall I’m super happy with this and it was the cheapest type of this tape I could find!

I have a shaggy carpet and a rug in my house that both would not stay put! I tapped the sheet carpet first to see how the tap could handle it, and it was like magic! This thing hasn't budged. Both rugs are doing great, and so is my dirt mat by the front door. It was easy to stick to the rug and place as well. I'm so done with moving rugs back!

This carpet tape works well holding carpet runners in place. However, it does have one drawback. We used it on a carpet to carpet application and it holds extremely well, but when we attempted to relocate the runner the tape was very difficult to remove and couldn't be reused once we got to to release from the carpet. I gave it 4 stars because it does hold the carpet in place.

Thought it would be the magic bullet I needed to keep my runner stable. At first I put a couple strips of tape but within 2 days the runner was bunching up and slipping sideways. Turned it over, removed the original tape and started fresh. This time placing many rows of tape, spacing a few inches apart and after a week it is still in place. (NOTE: I am using the runner over wall to wall carpeting.)

I will be ordering my second roll of this tape, it has out held any other brand I've used in the last 10 years. Where I place it, it will stay put the carpet doesn't shift off of it at all. I have carpet runners an the tapes I've used in the past doesn't hold the carpet taunt therefore I trip over the runner, but not this tape, where you put it it will stay! It's doing such a great job I am not able to tell you if it removes easily, I haven't had a need to remove it.

Overall this tape works incredibly well - it is very sticky, clean, and keeps the rugs firmly in place. We're using it on both carpet directly and for another rug to keep it anchored to a padded carpet pad and it works exceptionally well in both instances - if anything, it might work too well! Our larger 8' x 12' carpet has a bit of give in the middle because of where we anchored it down; ideally it would have been great to have four extra helpers to pull it taut before padding it against the ground to ensure a tight fit.I'm already buying two more rolls of this for another project - stop waiting, this is the most effective product on the market.

This tape worked perfectly the carpet pieces I taped to my wooden stairs. I had to pull some up and reapply, and it didn’t damage the wood, but the carpet pieces are secure.

This product is excellent at holding carpets and almost anything else that needs 2 sided tape. I find it excellent.

Works like a charm.

It is very messy to work with, especially with arthritic fingers, once you have pulled the tape part its very flimsy and just curls up, wasted so much tape, waste of money
