18" leather messenger bag laptop case office briefcase gift for men computer distressed shoulder bag

It's rigid, lovely, stylish, and fits a HP Ency 17t-n100, IE a 16.9"+ laptop. It also, though it is tight, fits a 2 inch full binder and relatively thick leather portfolio, with a front pocket that easily fits an unwrapped computer power supply and mouse, which then also closes completely flat. If you start wrapping the cord or putting roundish or odd sized things, yes, it will be hard to close. I hunted for a long time because no one could precisely tell me a 17" would fit. Mine NB: There is quite literally no negative smell or any scent of any kind.So... 17.3" screen, laptop 16.3 x 11.1 x 1.2 inches. It fits like a glove with zero issues *&* the tiny USB adapter for my mouse doesn't even hit the side! =) Put some styrofoam at the bottom of the pocket to buffer sliding the laptop in and out.

First off wow what a fast delivery and great tracking! I literally just got my bag a few minutes ago. Very well packaged and even the buckles had protective tape on them. I'm impressed with the quality so far. Whoever on here said the strap was too narrow is dead wrong, too. This bag is absolutely huge btw. I bought it so I can take it to work/school but I could possibly stash a whole outfit in there plus a laptop/books. The inside is pretty soft and it does have a pad for a laptop as well.Kind of a warning: this bag is made of goat leather. It is not gonna smell like cowhide leather at all. It's not a bad smell but it's different. Cows are sacred in India so they couldn't use the same leather we use in America.I'm very impressed with my bag. I spent at least $90 less than I would've elsewhere and got more space for my money. I encourage anybody to buy from Jaald!

This is a beautiful bag that looks and carries well. I'm a fairly big guy (6'2 / 225) and it looks very appropriate, could look a little large on someone not as tall or thin.Side note – this bag is more about show than it is go. If you have anything in the front compartment it's a royal pain to open up the briefcase quickly. If you're using this for business understand that when the meeting ends you're the guy left in the conference room trying to gather your bag because of the fasteners/straps.

It's ok, thought the color would be darker cognac like the picture but it's not, it's a light tan and maybe with time it gets darker. Smell, didn't smell bag at all, smelt like new leather. Very roomy, just what I was looking for, so thats a plus. No shoulder pad on strap, should have one, I will add one myself, it will enhance the look and feel of bag. The metal gear work could be done much better and made larger so that the strap can easily fit through the buckles. Like that there is lining on the inside but choice of color, neon green, yuck! Guys, you get what you pay for, $90 handbag with lots of room for whatever you want to carry. 3 Stars.

Note - this is sent out from India, not mainland USA. Hence a little longer in getting to us, but we were prepared for that. This was a part of our graduation gift to our eldest and he truly likes the style and leather. Also note, since this is real leather, you may want to investigate into the proper care and maintenance of leather! This bag was well made, and with good care, should age very nicely!

Very cool leather look that will wear and have a lot of character. The double leather straps are very "Indiana Jones" if you will but not a satchel. The canvas, green liner is tightly fitting and won't stretch and looks to hold up well. It holds my 17" laptop easily.Utility - In the first 30 days the handle and the shoulder strap both broke. There is nothing left to carry the bag. I'm looking for someone locally that can repair the bag. The leather that connects the handle and shoulder strap to the bag is much too thin. It isn't "paper" thin but just slightly thicker than that.Customer Service - I tried contacting the seller. Shortly after I received the bag the seller had an email that said to email them if there are any troubles with the bag. I emailed once the straps broke. I did not receive any contact back. This review is after waiting a week for the seller to get back with me on trying to fix the two broken straps.So overall, great looking bag and I really want to use it but I have no way of carrying it other than holding it like a football running back. I'm going to find someone local to replace the leather straps with much thicker leather. I think this is a great looking bag and wish I could have gotten help from the seller.

I bought this bag as a birthday gift for my son-in-law. He opened it last night, and he was speechless. He absolutely loves it--he could not get over the fact that it has real, functional buckles, not fake ones with velcro. His wife commented, "it looks like it came from someone's attic, but it's brand new!" That wonderful leather smell authenticates it as well. Excellent craftsmanship. It looks like it will last him a lifetime.

The top handle broke as soon as I tried to pick it up with my laptop in it. Unacceptable!! When you're going through airport security you have to undo two buckles to get your laptop out. It's annoying and time-consuming when you're in a hurry.

This is the second one I ordered. I had to return the last one because the handle broke just after 2 days. I was upset as this bag suited my needs perfectly. I tried 3 other bags that just didn't fulfill my needs as the first one did. I returned them all. I decided to take a gamble and give this style bag a second chance hoping that the defective handle was a one time occurrence as it truly was the best suited bag for my needs. I'm glad to say it's been a month since I got this second one and so far all is great. The amount of zippered pockets that can actually hold a letter size file and the pocket for my laptop which is 15" wide is more than adequate. My charger, mouse, phone charge and other cables fit with ease and with so much room left. Added bonus is the amount of compliments I receive about my bag. Great value. Go for it!

Sencillamente perfecta y los materiales de alta calidad y excelente terminacion. La unica cosilla es que se ve muy grande (ancha) pero es cosa de acostumbrarse jejejeje. Resumiendo, genial!

Product came as described; never had a goat skin product before so can't imagine how it will wear; I'm pleased with it will have straps cut and sewed to suite my needs; recommended
