DIY Remote Control/Key Fob Repair Kit

We'd been having trouble with the remote for our 2013 Dodge Dart. I'd open the remote and clean it, it would help a bit, but wasn't great. The 2nd to last time I opened it, I found that the little contact discs had lost their springiness and no longer made good contact. I also managed to lose one of them, so not all of my remote functions worked. I read about these in an online forum, ordered, and installed them. They were easy to install, and they worked. MUCH cheaper than a new remote, no programming issues, and there were PLENTY of spare contacts in the package.

The product was intended to fix a remote key fob for a vehicle. The buttons (for lack of a better way to describe them) ultimately did not fit my key fob, and did not make a solid connection to the circuit board after installation. It is likely that what I ended up receiving was intended for different products. It would have been nice to know this before ordering, rather than being given the impression of being a generalized solution.

the unlock button on my fob quit working and I really didn't want to go the the expense and trouble of buying a new fob then getting it programmed to my vehicle, but I had no idea how to go about "fixing" that one button. Came across this product and thought it was worth a try. Watched the instructional video, dismantled the fob, cleaned the contacts and the inside of the button, applied the dots, and now the fob is working great. Thanks!

I opened up my key fob and noticed that my factory conductive stickers were no longer sticking. I ordered this repair kit and followed their included instructions. Repaired my key perfectly. Saved myself about $200, in comparison to buying a new key. My key fob was for Jeep/Ram 2010 model. I’d recommend opening up your key via factory instructions to see if your fob has these inside and if they’re currently not sticking like mine were. 10/10

the adhesive on these is useless!! i had to glue them on with elmers. once glued on, they do work and they are the perfect size for my car's fob.

Went in quickly and easily, and they work like little charms. I wish every remedy-idea was a simple and as excellent as this one.Now for the test of time. I am optimistic!With this, I repaired the "internally worn" conduction pads of several telephone handsets. TV remote controller will be the big prize... as I can't buy another! Must repair that sucker! (Toshiba, why are you so difficult??!)

I was able to save an old key fob using this kit! Saved me a fortune on a new one!
