Exactly as pictured, I haven't used the tools yet but the quality of material is great. I especially appreciate that the smoker has a built in mount to hang on the side of the hive body.

I purchased this kit mainly for the smoker as I already had most of the other equipment, but figured you can always use extra in this hobby, especially for the price. The frame removal tool is of fairly good quality and works well. The entrance feeders work, but 2 our of the 3 slightly leak. Have not used the decapping tool yet. The bee brush works ok, but the bristles get permanently bent out of wack fairly easily, but so do many of the more expensive brushes. The hive tool is good quality and works well. To my dismay the smoker is what I am disappointed with since that is what I purchased the kit for. The smoker looks great, and does work, but does not work well. It is very hard to keep lit compared to smokers that I have used, and the seal on the lid is too tight to close the top all the way so you end up with lots of smoke coming out around the rim instead of out of the top hole. It could be that I got a dud, but not sure! Admittedly the other smokers I compared it to cost twice the price of this kit, but work much better! So, if you are just getting started, or are on a budget and need all this equipment, and do not mind a little extra work/hassle with the smoker, this is a good deal and worth the money!

Overall, the kit was worth the money. However, don’t expect much from the smoker. The hinge is flimsy and reminds me of an aluminum soda can when it comes to “sturdiness”. Bent first time I used it and the top fell off. This is a fire hazard since it is FOR FIRE! It is a “smoker”. Better hinge is needed with better material. Otherwise it would’ve been a very good smoker. But the safety problem with the hinge makes it useless.

Overall, this is okay for the price, but you might be able to do better by taking recommendations from your local beekeeping group. I received 2 right-handed gloves and one of the underarm latches on the veil was stitched in backwards; but, it was still usable. I happened to already have a left-handed leather glove. All-in-all, this gave me a really good idea of what to look for when I decide to really invest in longer-term equipment. The veil does seem a bit flimsy which is the biggest issue for me. It will get the job done, but there's no telling when and where the netting will start resting on my neck or face, and for an entry-level beekeeper, that will probably spur more drama that can lead to further drama from the bees if you're not cool with that possiblity.

I'm a beginner I choose this because of the price and the different things that comes in the package,it would be confusing to have to single pick everything.

Good starter kit. Will need to upgrade to better quality eventually.
