Best thing for my autistic son
we had bought the hanging pod from Sam's Club with the Stars. It was horrible and falling apart within two weeks. They would switch me out but I would have to take everything apart and drive 3 hours one way to them. For my son's early birthday gift I decided to get him this to replace it. I cannot tell you how much more he loves this than the other one. He goes into it multiple times a day whenever he is getting anxious. Some of the perks that I have found from this include shorter hanging, comfortable cushion, better material, closable windows, and much more sturdy. The con is the assembly. Thankfully we already put one together so I kind of knew what I was doing. I did the top inside out and then crawled into it to put the bottom bars in. I'm not sure if you're supposed to or not but I kept the styrofoam around them and that helps cushion when he hits the wall or dresser. I was really nervous on buying an air up cushion because he can be so rough with things, but it is extremely sturdy and it's made it so much more appealing to him. I did not put the lights because with him being autistic he doesn't understand dangers. We do have them and I've used them a few times. My son is 85 lb and 4 ft 5 at 6 years old. He has enough room to crawl around and play his Kindle. He's extremely happy to have his own hidey-hole and I love that I can lean into it to read him a book

Omg I so love this. Granted I'm 35 and 5' tall so yeah I fit and you're damn right I'm getting in it. I am a big ole kid at heart and I have spent many nights hiding out in this thing and I absolutely love love love it!!! The lights, the "doors" that close up it's awesome no matter what age you are. Lol!! Big thumbs up!!!

Worth it hang out for those of us who don’t have a place for a treehouse
When the pandemic hit, I decided we needed to do more to incorporate our yard into our living space. Putting one of these outside has definitely been a hit. We don’t have a tree appropriate for hanging so I actually bought a folding tripod with a winch that’s intended for use by hunters, like this one:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EZQR6D4/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdo_t1_X.CcFbFVBW7VSThe hanging pod assembled pretty easily. The reviews that recommended that you crawl partway inside to assemble the metal rings are right. It’s a lot easier that way. I actually inflated the bottom pad most of the way with a car compressor and then slid it into the space it belongs and finished the inflation with a bike pump. Both of my kids have had a blast hanging out in it. (All puns intended.). Before remote schooling was done for the seasons, mypre-teen would take his laptop out there each morning and settle in to do his schoolwork from the pod, where he knew he could have some peace and quiet. His preschool-aged brother will get out of the inflatable pool when his lips are blue and scramble into the pod with his towel to warm up. It can easily handle the weight of both kids and me (call that about 300lb) when we all crawl in with an iPad to watch a movie.Three months in and it’s holding up to the abuse. So yup, I’d say it’s a win.

My child stopped asking about the tree house
It took 30 mins to put together and another 40 to find a good position on the tree. The tent is short and we added a rope ladder to climb up. My 8 year old still is very excited about it. The down side, is that it has holes in the tope, windows and the tent just gets wet with every rain. It is shorter than full length of my kid and is not very comfortable. The door was missing a Velcro on one side. Otherwise it is well made. The most important is that my kid stopped asking about a tree house finding the tent a reasonable substitute.

Great new space
Received yesterday and installed on a metal hanger sold by another supplier. The kids love it and the eldest fell asleep in it. So sibling squabbling as it is something new, but very impressed as it gives them a new space. Recommend for kids with Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, and ADHD!

my girls love it
When my girls were smaller/younger we had a cocoon swing in their sensory room that they loved to get in to together. Now that they're 4 and 6 years old only one can fit in and it causes a fight so I purchased this. My daughters love it! It's big enough for both of them to get in and curl up and lay down or sit up and read (which is why I purchased this design verses a large cocoon swing or something similar that gets very narrow at the top). They love the inside pockets to put their books in. And they especially love the lights along the top. I will say it tips a bit to the side when one of them is moving around so they kind of end up on top of each other but I'm sure they'll figure that out. We already had mounting hardware in the ceiling so all we used was the adjustable rope that was provided to hang the tent from the existing hardware. I did put the tent swing together by myself, which was somewhat difficult as it's heavy to hold up and get the rods in there correctly but it can be done. Even the manual air pump worked well to inflate the cushion. It does take up quite a bit of room, so definitely take that into consideration when you're looking at the measurements and figuring out where you will put it. I also think it's a bit stuffy/hot in there (from when I strung the lights) due to the heaviness of the fabric so I am glad there are 3 flaps to open. Being that it's inside I can't speak to the waterproofing or how it holds up in the sun. Overall very happy with the purchase and the price and my girls are happy to have their tent swing.

My kids love it!
My kids love this swinging tent. They are 5 and 7. They jump in and out of it while playing outside. It is hanging from a tree. The thread was starting to unravel at the top. I re-sewed it to make it stronger and doubled up on the thread. Small modification for a great design. We love it.
