The boot works great and is not uncomfortable to sleep in. The Velcro is loud when I take the boot off in the middle of the night and wakes my wife. Clips of some sort would have been a better and quieter way to secure the boot. Other than that I'm very pleased.

The brace is comfortable and didn't cause me any pressure concerns (which is very important), and the weight is decent (also important)... However I have two significant design issues: First is the straps...the way the Velcro attaches makes it pretty difficult to undo. The other issue is the pad under the forefoot that dorsiflexes the foot past 90*. The problem is its permanent and can't be removed making the brace unusable for some. Unusable for me at present. Unfortunately this wasn't very clear in the description. I would strongly recommend this be made removable like on other similar braces. If these pretty simple things were fixed it would be a 5 Star.

This product met almost all of my expectations. I like that it goes past the toes. As a stomach sleeper, it allows me to keep my foot in the correct position without added pressure on my toes. That said, I wish the middle strap were a little wider. That strap creates a pressure point which I can alleviate by loosening it a bit. Once it's loosened, my foot does not stay bent at the full angle. It's still enough of an angle to help.

It holds the foot in the correct position, but it was impossible to sleep with it on. It is better to use while watching TV. Just too big and heavy for sleeping.

After suffering with the latest bout of Plantar fasciitis for the last two months ,I searched and found this night splint. It prevents your toes from pointing down while you sleep and stretches your plantar fiscus tendon. It was a bit bulky to get used to but after just a couple nights I noticed some relief. I have been using it nightly ever since. I still get some pain after being on my feet all day but at least I can walk after I sit down and rest for a while. And after about a month I can now get out of bed in the morning and have NO pain.One warning,the manufacturer makes it clear that this is NOT for walking in ,it is for use while you are at rest. But I put mine on a couple of hours before going to bed so that I could get use to it,and trust me you will walk in it. So before you do I suggest that you remove the hard plastic shell and reinforce the ankle area with banded strapping tape. The kind with the fibers running through it,running the tape from toe to the heel on the outside of the shell ,keeping in mind that you want to keep it smooth and not bulky. I recommend this because I cracked mine in 4 days and have repaired it twice. Twice because I did not use the correct tape the first time. I reinforced the ankle section and the bottom section and I have not had any problems since. Just relief.

Worked great for about two weeks then the velcro stopped holding. Now useless

Not comfortable to sleep in

The only problem I had with it was that it was difficult for me to get the leg strap to go far enough to hold because my legs swell up with peripheral edema. The molding inside for the calf doesn't really accommodate wide lower legs. it would be an improvement if the strap that goes over the ankle was a bit lower so it would hold the top of the foot down so the foot doesn't still manage to extend.

I'm a chiropractor, late 50's, fit, active, I stretch, do everything right. Still, I've had plantar fasciitis 4 times and have learned a lot about it. This night splint was something I had not tried until last night. It's fantastic! Got out of bed this morning with zero pain. I will be recommending this to patients. It's well built, comfortable and a fair price. I made an adaptation to it, the cover comes off so you can move the foam wedge to elevate the ball of your foot. I added a few strips of velcro to the shell to give me more flexibility in placement of the wedge. The cover comes off and goes back on easily. All in all I have to say I think that the people who made this need to be applauded for coming up with a solution to a frustrating problem. Thanks so much!

The splint needs a wider, shaped, centre strap. I take the splint off in the morning when I first wake up because the top of my foot is aching.
