Ankle Genie , 1.5 Pound

Like others who left a positive review, I am very happy with both the performance and the quality of this product. I had frequent and increasing ankle weakness (inward pronation) and foot/arch pain. I decided to give the Ankle Genie a try. I immediately felt an improvement, and was soon able to resume going for walks, as well as staying on my feet throughout the work day (I'm a teacher) without needing to sit down frequently. I'm still using the same one I ordered several months ago--easy to hand-wash, and dries quickly. The zipper is still intact, although the velcro doesn't grip as well as it used to, perhaps because I tend to keep the zipper closed, and just use the velcro when I put it on or take it off. I will point out that if you have large calves, this will not work for you.

it was not in the shape that was listed, "NEW". The zipper was messed up and had a few notches missing on one side, i was very upset considering this was a birthday gift for my grandmother, but it was too late to send it back to get another one.

I suffered from a bad step doing exercises, and my foot is not the same since that day, so I ordered this Ankle Genie to support my angle, when I walk much I feel that it hurts but with this product helps me walk and I feel better for a while, then remove it and do not use it until the pain come back again, I bought two, just in case the other foot I fail.

I did not like this product, and like many products, it is not worth sending it back for a refund because minus the postage, I will only get back $6, so not worth the hassle of packaging and going to the post office, then waiting for a refund. The product is not built right, the opening portion around the foot is so tight that is was very uncomfortable, the sleeve bunches in the middle because of the velcro enclosures and that is also uncomfortable, so with only a two hour wear, my ankles hurt worse than they did without them. .

This ankle Genie is very easy to use and provides the support. I would recommend for anyone that has problems putting on a support sock or ankle wrap because you just slide your foot into the Genie and just zip it up. Very easy to use. Great product.

only reason these don't give this a 5 Star is...zipper comes undone if it goes too far down into the sock. So you WILL HAVE to sew this, do it first b4 u wear, cause not easy to put the zipper back on the thread. Other than that inconvenience....they work really great. I was skeptical, but my partner plays a ton of sports and he said he feels no pain in his feet when he wears these, when normally he is soaking his feet after every game. He also has had no ankle twists or injuries due to excellent support. It is one of those AS SEEN ON TV...that truly WORK!!!! DEF will order again...but will sew prior to wearing...i learned th hard way, on 2 pairs.

I bought this because I thought it would be cooler than knee-length zipper compression socks. It's actually quite thick and bulky because the compression is provided by the velcro straps instead of by the fabric itself. It also transitions from a knit socklike fabric to the thick and more rigid fabric the straps are made from right before the heel, so there is a seam right below your heel. The zipper is a very thick plastic zipper and ends almost an inch below the top of the sock. Where I need compression most, right at my ankle, there is a gap from an opening below the straps and wrinkles from the bending of the thick fabric. I wear a S/M in compression socks, so if you wear a different size it may fit you differently. Maybe this would be a better product if it came in sizes.One sock per package. If you put it on your right foot the zipper will be on the inside of your leg and the straps will be on the outside. Left foot would be the opposite.

I finally got it my first order had got lost in the mail with 2 other items. This item is awesome if you have arthritis or a previous ankle injury that keeps getting reinjured like me. A little snug @ first but you will feel almost instant results.

Very bad quality of the zipper had to get repaired in a day only!! Also it barely supports the ankle!!Not worth buying at all!!!!
