Women's Waisted Maxi Dress (Available in Plus Size)

Bought this because i like the style and it was $15. Didnt expect much but really like it after I modified a bit.Being very tall, length is always an issue. This dress failed at length for me-too oddly short for maxi, too oddly long for midi. Was going to return but since i loved the style i whipped out scissors. I am NOT crafty or into sewing. Was going to hem by hand but dug out a 20 year old sewing machine amd hemmed it. I forget the original length but took it to 25 inches from elastic band under bust so it hits about 2" above knees. It took me longer to prep the machine than to hem. Super easy to do-i surprised myself. Ordered another to do the same to.One thing to note-if you are busty for your size, top does pull pretty low. Rest of dress generous in sizing. Use guide for sizing-measurements seemed right. Below bustline very generous.Does not wrinkle so great for travel. Elastic band under bust not so attractive but not a deal breaker because style is so flattering.

The dress came on time - we’ll packaged- no damagesIt’s a very nice dress ( more like a long T-shirt ) made of a great and soft material , that fits like a glove. It has a thin elastic-belt bellows the breast area that expands smoothly and comfortably , forming a nice shape for my body, even with my big belly 😊. it has plenty room for my 40/42 DD breast and the “not too reveling “ V neck cut looks very feminine on me.I washed it by hands and the water came out almost clear, didn’t change the shape of the dress or shrink 👍👍 nex time it goes to the wash&dryer machine on delicate ( it is heavyweight to wash by hands)I Am 220 lbs and 5’ 6” and it touches my ankles. It looks better on me if I wear this dress with a slim and sandals with one-inche heels. * I’ll cut it shorter only if gets in the way I walk.This dress is not too sophisticate, but, is very elegant to wear for many nice events with family and friends.I Am really happy with this purchase and I’ll buy another dress from this seller ( I just hope that it’ll be made off the same material). 🍁 🌲 ✨ May God Bless the Planet (Happy Holidays and Happy 2023 for us all 🙏🙏🏿🙏🏻🙏🏽🌸

I can't seem to leave different reviews for the different dresses that I've ordered and tried on for size.The green and blue floral dress is above the ankle for those 5 ft 4 or taller. The solid burgundy one, in contrast, is the length of a true maxi dress. I ordered these dresses in a few sizes and they all fit - just differently. I think that the XL fits best as compared with the 1X and 2X. The green and blue large flower floral is not available in XL, so I may just need to stick with the 1X, even though it’s a bit loose in the bust area where the neckline crosses over. The burgundy XL is absolutely lovely and it could even serve as a bridesmaid dress. The 2X works as a very loose, casual fit, but it has too many gathers in the front and too much fabric in the back for my taste. Plus the elastic waist is lower on me. I hate to share my weight, but let’s just say that I have curves and my curves are enhanced not exaggerated in this dress. The XL is generously sized, but not bulky through the torso at all. The burgundy XL is not clingy. It’s actually very elegant and the sleeves, crisscross neckline that shows a bit of cleavage and the high empire elastic waist give the dress true classic styling. The burgundy dress flows beautifully to the floor! The green and blue floral shorter length dress in contrast is more casual, but still a nice print. Please read the review in full for sizing. I have the floral green print in 1X and the burgundy solid in XL. I prefer the size XL for my height and weight and I ordered this dress in a few more solid colors. The fabric is a lovely, soft and stretchy, but not clingy rayon knit. I love the burgundy, yellow, light green and dark green colors. I'm not a fan of the navy color, but then again, for some reason, I try wearing navy and it just doesn't work for me. I'll always pick black over navy. The colors are lovely and rich.

I bought two of these dresses and, upon seeing how nice they were, quickly bought a third! The fabric is soft and wrinkle-free. The fit is flattering. Lengthwise, I can —just— get away with it at 5’3”. If I had a smaller butt, it would probably be too long. But I am super happy with these dresses. They can be dressed up or down easily and I anticipate that I will be very cute and comfortable in them this summer. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this dress. It is generously sized, I could have probably even gone down 1. I am 5’4” and it is about an inch above the floor for me. The neckline is low but not too revealing with a generous amount of fabric for heavy arms and ample busts. Nice amount of stretch and not sheer. I purchased the navy with pink for and it is a very subtle light pink. Really great brunch or cruise dress with a big sun hat, I’m happy with it!

This dress appears to be well made. The fabric softness, fit and flow will make it comfortable to wear. I really like the color which is richer than the picture. The length is long on my 5’3” frame but I’ll make it work by knotting the hem or wearing a low heal. There is sufficient room for my full bust. I will likely pin it or add a snap for a more modest “V” neck. The medium fits me well. It drapes loosely over my usually size 8 curvy body.I liked my first purchase of this dress enough to take a chance on another color hoping that like my first purchase it would be richer in color than the photo. I am so glad that I purchased the one that appears to be bright yellow in the photos. It is a much richer light mustard color. This is the color I was hoping that it would be. Again the fit is good but the dress is too long. No worries, I’ll make it work.

What a nice little dress! Inexpensive, nice weight. I’m 5’2” and ordered a small. It went to the floor, so I’ve had a tailor shorten it about 10” (sadly, this has added quite a bit to the price). I’m looking forward to wearing it with a sweater this winter into spring, and all summer.

I like the dress I just wish Amazon would put a size guide or at least some measurements of the clothing as I got the wrong size because I had no clue if I was a x2 x3 x4

So so pleased I am 5ft1 and size 18/20 I can never find a maxi dress that does'nt drag on the floor but at last Iv found one! it is flattering and made of nice cotton feel, strech material not shiney nylon and not thick.

Having bought a similar one from another seller that said “100% cotton” and was synthetic and horrible, I bought this dress and it is perfect so comfy and soft. I have since bought it also in dark blue. I’m a size 18 and bought XL and it fits perfectly

This dress looks absolutely amazing on! Literally just like the picture. I am 5.3 and it came to ankle length, perfect. Am a UK 10 and the fit is superb. I have just ordered in every other colour! Dress up, dress down, will look great either way, very happy!

I am so pleased with this dress, received yesterday, that I've ordered another one! It is really good quality jersey, drapes beautifully and is really comfortable to wear. I am a curvy size 14 and 5ft 5" tall, so going by reviews I read I ordered the M/L and it is perfect for me. The vee neck line is quite low on me and shows some cleavage, but I wear chunky necklaces and sometimes a thin scarf so it should be OK. If not, a few stitches to hold it in place higher up would suffice, I think. Highly recommend.
