Really Cutting Edge Technology. Love this blade. Feels and performs like a professional knife.
The media could not be loaded. After having this knife for a while, it does not even dull on me even when it touches the cutting board at every slice. This tends to dull any knife except for this one. It's not too heavy and it is easy to handle and control. I felt like a professional chef every time I hold this knife. Of course it can cut other stuff like meat. The real test is the hardest thing to cut through which was an apple. Even though it may look like I am struggling is because I didn't have enough space in my area to work with. Otherwise, I would have cut straight through like butter such as the other slices shown in the video. It is crafted with a strong full tang so no more loose handles. My friends were impressed about the packaging and how sharp it is.

Beautiful knife for small hands
Absolutely wonderful to hold. This is a beautifully weighted piece, a joy to hold in your hands. I have small, wide hands and this feels like a dream in them. Perfectly weighted, with a beautiful and comfortable handle that cleans easily and gives just enough grip to keep it secure when not too goop-y.If you're doing really messy tasks with wet hands this might not be enough of a grip for you, but personally I like metal and other smooth surfaces over grippier rubber or silicone. Looks prettier and I feel like it stays nicer for longer.Comes sharp but not razor sharp. For that you'll have to break out your sharpening stones, but whyever would you want to pack and ship a knife razor sharp??? You need stones to maintain a decent edge anyway, so you might as well have some around. Anyway, it's still sharp enough to use right out of the box, so w/e.Ships with a tip protector, in a lovely box. Good for someone who wants a nice kitchen knife that is *practical* but still a joy to use and decent to look at.Nice, without getting crazy on the price. Pretty and comfortable with a good edge, but not so crazy that if you mess it up somehow you're out a grand. And not so delicate that it needs oiling all the time, or so brittle that the slightest fumble breaks off chips. All's good with it so far, and it's feeling like a real steal for the price. Haven't managed to break it yet and I'm rough on knifes (I'm not great at knife skills, and tend to be clumsy). If I manage to keep this in good shape with time, I might end up getting a whole set, or at least a chef knife 🤔

It chops, minces, dices but its heavy
Vegtable and herb cleaver, somewhat heavy even though it has good balance. The handle is just as heavy as the body of the blade, together making for a heavy nakiri. It is priced well, and the manufacturing is clean with no burrs or visible defect. The choil is nice and rounded for finger placement. The pinch grip is the best position to hold the knife. The spine is rounded and good for finger placement when extra pressure is needed. Its got decent sharpnest about “4/5”. It could use a bit on the strope. It is a nice knife to look at, ok to hold and handle, cuts well as directed. I used it on bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and sundried tomatoes. The knife did a good job and I didnt feel fatigued or have any misdirected cuts. I would look for something lighter as I feel this is a bit heavy coming in at 314 grams for extended periods of use. Overall I would give this knife 6.5/10.

A Nice Addition to My Knife Set
I'm an experienced restaurant chef - just not in Michelin star restaurants, but more like the popular and high quality local restaurants that everybody can afford... I wanted a Nakiri to expand my skillset with this type of knife, and the Sunnecko 7" Nakiri has been a wonderful addition in my kitchen. I like that the blade is relatively thin compared to my traditional Western-style 8" chef knife. The Nakiri makes vegetable prep fast and easy, and the rectangular shape of the blade makes for an easy slice/scoop/drop for the veg. I certainly suggest that those looking for a quality Nakiri that won't break the bank, start with this offering from Sunnecko.

Well made and very sharp!! Even after of year of use and not honed yet!
So here is the update as we have had these knives for almost a year now. They get used each and everyday by multiple members of our household. They remain sharp but not as sharp as when they first arrived, just now do they need a tiny bit of honing to bring back that razor edge so I can slice paper thin again ( still does but takes a bit more time now). Needless to say they continue to look new and we only hand wash them, I can see many many more years of service. I am going to purchase a few more of these. Worth every penny

Weight, balance, hand feel beauty and sharpness. Better than expected. 👍🏻
My Nikiri came today and in time to prepare a steak shish-a-bob on the grill. Out of the box the knife is a beauty. It is sharp, well balanced, a perfect weight, and easy to hold. Some reviewers complained about the handle being too slick. I use a pinch grip and have had no issues so far. I gave it a couple licks on my ceramic honing rod and it cut through the steak like a hot knife through butter. I didn’t need to hone it out of the box, habit took over without thinking. Veggies too yielded easily under the blade as I would expect them to. One of the deciding factors for me is that it is a 7” knife and the oval handle shape. I don’t care for slab sided handles. The 6” Nikiri knives are too short for the way I cut vegetables. All-in-all it is a great value and once I’m used to it, I’m certain it will have a permanent and well used slot in my knife block.Yes, I would recommend this knife to a friend. 👍🏻

Pictures are very deceiving. And edge has a horrible burr and is dull.
There are 6 pics of the knife. Pictures 1,2 and 5 are very deceiving. It shows a ratio if the length and width that does not exist. Pictures 3,4 and 6 are actual photos and are accurate. Also the edge has a horrible burr on most of one side and is basically dull.
