A great quality investment for your model train setup.
This is easily one of my favorite items that I have bought for my husband’s train table. Walthers Merchant Row IV is, easy to assemble, very customizable (paintable), true to scale and very detail oriented. Walthers is our favorite brand for H.O. model train buildings and accessories. I highly recommend this!

Not as easy to assemble as I would have liked, but it was worth it.
Even with smaller female hands, this was a pain in the butt to get together, especially with finger tips glueing to each other or the little plastic window panes. The signs broke when I tried to get them free of the framed casing. I managed to get one on but it broke during boxing to wrap it up for Christmas.Fun to paint to add detail. Glad I got it, but I like the ease of other model brands.

I love this kit. I have bought several and cut them up to change the layout to suit my building needs. Everything you need is here for great looking buildings and storefronts

Horrible Directions
Building is nice but the directions are HORRIBLE

Nicely made.
It really looks nice. I added extra detail to it. Looks good. Easy to put together.

They also have a N scale version.
It works as a stand-alone set of stores, or you can use it for the middle of the block with Merchant Row I on one end, and Merchant Row II or V on the other end. I have no idea what happened to Merchant Row III, but I have never seen that kit. In any case, it makes a nice addition to your HO layout.

Will like this item when it get built
Will like this item when it get built. Not very easy to set up, because there was nothing to hold the sides while glueing it. Had to use rubber bands and packing tape to hold together while the glue dries. Must be a better way to assemble this and if anyone has an idea please pass on!

Instructions are horrible. Absolutely no way to apply decals with the instructions that are provided. Will not be able to use this model!
