Prompt delivery. Unit fits well into an existing wall sleeve with not too much effort. Operation was a easy and quiet.

This A/C works very well and cools down the area very quickly. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

I just finished installing this Through the Wall AC unit, which has horrible instructions that are unclear and hard to follow, and have had the unit running for 30 minutes. The room I installed the unit in has not cooled in temperature - not even by a single degree. The air coming out of the unit doesn't feel that cold. It's quieter than the old 15 year old machine we replaced, but still pretty loud. The product is also made in China. I'm not sure what is supposed to justify the premium price for this product, but I can't return it because the company on Amazon doesn't pay for return shipping (~$300). Don't waste your money or time with this product.

This unit runs in two modes basically. Energy Zsaver turns on ever time the limit is exceeded by 5 degrees or regular mode which blows constantly

Bought to replace an old Friedrich AC unit. The old unit had lasted 25 years of heavy use. I was impresessed with the old unit so I though I'd replace it with another Friedrich. BIG MISTAKE. The thermostat on the new unit is terrible. The temperature range is about 8 degrees. Set it on 74 degrees and it will stay on until the temperature hits 69. Then the unit will stay off until the temperature reaches 78 or higher. I tried to contact them using their support website. I got confirmation when I finished submitting my support request and then ABSOLUTE RADIO SILENCE. They don't even bother to respond. So when I had to put 3 through the wall units in a rental property I made sure the contractor did not use Friedrich. We used another brand and they worked great. DONT BUT FRIEDRICH AC.

I have never left a review in my life but I felt like I had to with this one. Purchased two AC units. One with Amazon and the other with PC Richard. Had for about 1-3 years and both stopped working. I live in NYC so AC’s were only used for the summer not year round. With PC Richard, I was able to have my second unit replaced within the year no questions asked. Amazon only gives 30 days. Lesson of the day, dont buy AC units through Amazon and DON’T BUY FRIEDRICH. Regardless of where I purchased them, the brand isn’t as good as it used to be. Waste of my money.
