This is very consistent with other non-foaming shave gels, but with the tea tree smell.This gel does allow the razor to glide smoothly, but I find that I am using the gel very sparingly, due to the fact that I first shave down and then up, against the growth. This is primarilly because I'm tight and dont want to use the (comparitively expensive) gel up very quickly. This has caused the razor to catch once or twice.I think I'll stick with the peppermint shave cream from Taylors (available on Amazon)

I have struggled with shaving related red spots since I was a teenager and this product seems to have made a big difference. Will buy again.

Very disappointed. Had high hopes for this product. But not fit for purpose. The blade does not glide like other feels gels. Wish I could send it back but I’ve used it not now. Guess it’s back to king of shaves 3/10

As a shaving gel doesn't really work. Might as well use water. Mixing with a good shaving gel is a compromise.No problems on skin (so far).Scent is Ok, but it does mostly smell of tea tree oil, which some people dislike.

I’ve been wet shaving for thirty years now and I’ve had all the usual supermarket ones and a few of the hi-priced ones too. I’ve sensitive skin and I usually wet shave once a week then trim off the stubble a couple of days later because it gets really soar. If I could I’d grow a beard I would but i can’t . I can shave with this every other day and my skin feels fine too. Hardly any smell And I was expecting it to because of the tea tree oil. Arrived well packaged and on time too. Best gel I’ve used by a mile

Yes it does the job, is definitely non-foaming, and I'm sure the tea tree oil in it has good antiseptic qualities. I bought it along with the tea tree balm to help ease my face back after taking off a beard I'd had for decades. It's easier and less wasteful to spread the clear gel onto the face via fingertips rather than with a shaving brush. As I state, it does the job but - if asked - I'd suggest that most other gel are just as good. if you were to ask me about the tea tree shaving balm however, I'd tell you that it is much more effective for skin health after having shaved than using both this shaving gel and that balm afterwards. This shaving gel is o.k whereas the balm is great.Eamonn

TeeTree shave gel works! (for me anyway). Properly clean your face or area to be shaved prior & go nuts!No after effects or "slime" post shave as in some of the more popular brands mens shaving creams, works well with my shaving system (Gillette Fusion 3), very easy on the blades and more importantly for me, no red splotches or irritation that I was getting using "other" products.....No regrets on buying or trying this on my part

Helps me to maintain the shape of my beard as this is a completely clear gel I can’t shave cheeks and neck and keep the edges sharp. Apply and leave for a couple of minutes to soften hair pre shaving. Seems to have quite a good glide to it and I find it moisturising. Would buy again even though quite expensive.
