It really nice looking and bright and surprisingly big. I guess, the specs should have been an indication (but past experiences had made me cynical). So pleasantly surprised at size and how neatly it was made; it does have that synthetic leather smell from the base, but not something that will bother a NASA crazy kid.I cannot comment on its longevity was just received. But it is a cost effective option and looks good. Perfect albeit a tad big for an elementary school kid.Would recommend though it is a bit of a wait (1 month) for it to arrive due to some logistical issues on this end at delivery. Still, no regrets, as the kid was walking around with it claiming it was perfect for the longest time.I would update in a few months after some wear on the bag.

I bought this backpack for my daughter. We both loved it, especially when it is not over the top. We checked some out at stores and they were overdecorated... (big logos, etc).. this one was just perfect.
