PediFix Nighttime Bunion Regulator, Left, Medium

I purchased this item after having much foot pain, especially by end day. Some of the reviews stated it didn't have much padding, but I feel it's adequate and the design does the job. I feel it's sturdy and well made. I do agree with other reviews stating the velcro strap is not long enough, and it wouldn't be for a wide foot. Fortunately, mine is narrow and it fits fine. Others could replace it with a velcro strip found at a sewing store. The first night I could only wear it for 4 hrs, but after that, all night. It's not made to walk around in, but a quick trip to the restroom is do-able. I've been wearing it every night for over a month now and have felt a difference. Even after a few days, my foot pain had decreased dramatically. I don't expect miracles because my bunion has been there for years, but I do feel pain relief, and that's what I was hoping for. I'm hoping that after continued use, my toe may tend to straighten a bit. I only wish I had found this item sooner and would recommend anyone with a bunion to use this early on. After talking with people, surgery is the last resort.

I have had bunions since I was 10 years old. I've been using PediFix Nighttime Bunion Splints for over five years now. I have tried many other brands but Pedifix offers the most comfortable splint by far. Comfortability is a key factor, as these need to be worn every night. The padding material is broken in with a couple of uses and is not too harsh on the bunion. My feet get very sore after long days of walking and gyming, but a couple of hours with these splints relieves the pain. These splints have a durability of about 6-12 months for me because I tighten them alot and sometimes walk on my heels around the house, thus, causing the plastic to break. However, I believe the $40-70ish (1-2 pairs of bunion splints x $17) a year is well worth the cost. I am a shoe size 7.5-8 Womens Wide, so a medium fits me well.

The media could not be loaded.  Seems to be holding up and working as shown. Feels.kind of good on I take off in the night as my foot starts to hurt.

These regulators do more than just ease bunion pain. I have the left and the right foot ones. If you haven't let them get out of hand yet, get these IMMEDIATELY!!!!! My feet are aligned again, and without surgery - which is what I had been told I would need! I'm wearing shoes that used to hurt, but without complaint now. and I walk straighter because of it. The first two times or so that you wear it, it does make the joint a bit sore, but that's to be expected. After all it is stretching cramped muscle and tissue and realigning bones. But after a while you can pull it a bit tighter as the bunion responds to treatment.. I can wiggle my big toe which wouldn't move much before. All around excellent invention!!

Great for alleviating pressure cramps. I'm sure that wearing this frequently would definitely help with bunion issues, but highly doubt it can solve the problem 100% for serious cases.My bunion started developing only a short time ago & this has definitely helped straighten my bone out a bit, but again, my case wasn't really severe.DONT WALK WITH IT ON! The plastic brace is just that..PLASTIC, & not a very thick piece at that, so it can snap easily rendering the product useless (learned from experience & had to re-purchase)That said, I am by no means a deep sleeper & frequently toss and turn at night and this has done a great job of keeping up with me the last 2.5 years.

I have been wearing this on and off for the past two months during the night. I definitely haven’t been wearing it as often as I told myself I would. Which just makes me even more upset that it broke during the night last night. The plastic that the velcro strap wraps around just snapped. This was the brand my podiatrist recommended but I’m not very happy with this purchase considering it broke after only a handful of uses.

My podiatrist was impressed with it's "dynamic design." If you wear often at night, bunion pain is diminished, if not totally gone. Wouldn't be surprised if, over time, it can correct the bunion joint.

This bunion regulator will comfortably re-align your toe (early stages) while you sleep. After waking in the a.m., I put the silicone gel bunion protector & toe spreader to keep my toe aligned through the day in a shoe. My toe will go back without the constant use of the regulator, but it immediately stopped the stabbing pain associated with the movement & development of a bunion. I never want surgery so I'm happy to work with this! A light sock worn over the regulator is all I've needed to keep it in place all night. I also ordered the cheaper version (pink strap non-leather wide bunion strap), but have replaced it with the Pedifix which offers a sized fit that I found much more comfortable. If the velcrow strap is too long when adjusting the tension, just cut it to shorten. Took only 2 nights to forget it was there!

I have had painful bunions for many years. These bunion splints rock!! I wear them at night in bed and sometimes when I am resting during the day. My toes are more mobile and becoming straighter. They are also in less pain.
