We bought this for my 5 year old because she already has their world map and loves it. This has been a hit as well. We are all learning our states better, and it is so cute!I took one star off because of the typos, but other than that, it is perfect!

Much smaller than the world map they make. That one doubles as eye catching kids room decor. This one doesn't. Still, well made. I think this is the best way for kids to learn the US States.

Excellent quality. Love how each state is separate. Magnets hold well. A nice big size for kids. The only major negative is the weight, so I store it flat under the bed along with chess set. I am too afraid it would rip out whatever I use to hold it in a wall. Make sure you have a solid anchor if you are going to hang it! Would make a nice teacher gift if a class is looking to pitch in. My son got it in first or second grade. Still takes it out to play with every once in awhile (4th grade) and likes to remind himself where the states go. Likes to watch his little sibling mess it up and correct her. They've played with it awhile and are not particularly careful. I haven't noticed any excessive wear yet on the magnets or the background.

The kids love this. However the map is incorrect. It lists WS as the abbreviation for Wisconsin. The correct abbreviation is WI. Please note that on further maps so that the correct abbreviation is listed.

Like the quality

From 3 years old- 10 years old...we all love this puzzle. The mistakes didn't bother me because I knew they were there because of other reviews and honestly I'm not sure I would have noticed because they aren't in the state we live in. I probably wouldn't let a teething baby play with this. Small pieces and would get rubbed off if drooled on.

Don't listen to the reviews, this is a very nice toy and exactly what I needed. We are homeschooling and wanted something magnetic that had all the states separately so that we could track our geography lessons and add one piece at a time as we complete the lessons. It's larger than a standard puzzle so it makes a nice statement. My daughter loves it! I looked at a lot of other similar ones but I am very pleased with this purchase.

This puzzle is beautiful but I have a few complaints. First of all, there are typos (Delani instead of Denali Mountains, Smocky Mountains). I guess it's nothing a sharpie can't fix, but for the price I'm annoyed. My other issue is that the puzzle pieces are already coming apart a bit. The pieces are wood with a sticker on top and the stickers are coming away slightly at the corners. We got this puzzle yesterday so can't imagine what it will look like in a few weeks. I also don't love that some of the smaller states have water water attached to them. I have the urge to take an exacto knife to them. The magnetic part seems fine and I find that to be convenient compared to our other wooden States puzzle. Our 3 year old has an easier time doing it on his own because the pieces don't move once he places a state in the right spot. So, I guess I do recommend as long as you make sure you point out the typos to your kid!
