My Cat 5e and Cat 6 keystone jacks fit perfectly. One side of the jacks has a small lip and the opposite side has a large retaining clip. They inserted the easiest when I put the small lip in first and then rotated the large clip in. The jacks are held firmly in place, but they are still removable.

I would have rated this 5 stars but am knocking off one star because, out of the box, these don't fit commonly available "old work" outlet boxes (due to interference between reinforcement around screw holes and box tabs). There is also a bit of interference between the inside curved edge of the outlet plate and the tabs on the outlet boxes. A little bit of knife and/or die grinder or sander work on both cover and box solves the problem so the cover plate fits flush against the wall.

I had to use random quantity of keystone all over the house. Had to use this in my entertainment center and another in my home office area. Easy to install on a low voltage wall plate. The keystone jacks sits flush and snug.

I bought these obviously because I have many connections I want to run between the walls. The only drawback (and it is a major one for me) is they are a little too large for the low-voltage mounting plates I have found. I have tried 4 or 5 different brands of low-voltage mounting plates and they will not accept this cover plate without some modifications. Now having said this, these will work with modification done to the mounting plates, which takes almost as much time to do this as cut the hole in the wall and run the cables -- in other words, it takes a fair amount of time and you have to be careful or you risk damaging the mounting plate rendering it useless.Update: I found some *old* low voltage mounting plates laying around and they work perfectly!. Based on what I could see, I bought them at Ace Hardware. I tried doing multiple searches and could not find them anymore. If you are searching for something that will work (without having to do major modifications) you are going to need an internal clearance of 2-15/16. Anything less and you will have to make modifications to the mounting bracket before you can use these plates.

The screw strips very easy. Plan to buy your own screw if you order this product. Very disappointing.

It just a cover arrived not broken

I am satisfied with these covers. However, the hole spacing shown in the photos is misleading. There are two different sizes shown, some show the standard spacing and others show the Decora spacing. It would be helpful to show the dimension of the screw hole spacing.

Easy to install and standard size.I used it for my TV cable.

I may not able to make a flash finish at the older type of the phone jacks.
