Idol Project: Super Pop Anthology

This is definately one of the weirdest Animes I've ever seen, though it's also quite funny at times. All the characters (and there are a lot of them) are easily distinguishable from one another in both appearance and personality, and though the plot looks like something someone came up with during a fever-dream, it's still very creative. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because everything happens very fast, especially in the first two episodes, and the whole thing has to be watched at least twice for some of the parts to be completely understood. Other than that, it's definately something worth watching with a bunch of friends to giggle over!

I've seen lots of reviews of this anime before, and all seem to commit the same mistake: they took this anime seriously. Really, you took Idol Project seriously? An anime about a girl who wants to be an idol who suddenly gets abducted by space aliens to participate in wacky game-like events to call forth a new sun? This anime is all about just enjoying yourself with the silly campyness. The fanservice can get a bit too much, and I don't quite care for it either. But hey, it's a short ride through silly over-the-top anime, and I can respect that.

Pretty good. but you may not like it if you can't get past the old art style of the anime
