[Pack of 12] Tamaki Gold Fully Cooked Premium Koshihikari Short Grain Rice, Microwavable Rice, Instant Cooked Rice - 7.4 Ounce

Tamaki Gold microwavable rice is not always readily available on the shelf even in Asian markets, usually it is sold out. So, I was thrilled when I found this online with Amazon. The price was excellent. Unfortunately, this particular product by the case is no longer available...and the one Tamaki Gold microwavable rice that is offered is ONE bowl for the sell price of 9.99 plus shipping...I figured that if I were to order 12 as in a case, I would be spending just a shade under $200...excuse me?!The thing about Tamaki is the taste...I know...lots of people say that rice is rice...but it's not. Tamaki has a great, delicate flavor...[Tamanishiki is second]. It has enough 'stick' and is not gummy. And not a hint of vinegar as is often found in Nishiki microwavable rice.I am hoping that Amazon will find another vendor with sensible pricing...I mean...c'mon...$16.57 per bowl?? Really?

The price is quite comparable at the groceries, where only individual bowls are sold. I like that this comes in a box dozen.The taste is so much better than the staple Shirakiku microwave rice in our household.
