First head lamp for myself and I was skeptical without seeing the brightness before hand. I did research based on reviews and price.I purchased this headlamp 24 hrs before going on a night hike. After worrying I bought a "cheap" head lamp I didn't have time to test it until our hike. To my surprise it exceeded my expectations.The elastic band is adjustable and fit nicely. The light itself is adjustable; it has a lever to view straight ahead or angled down as fit. There are two sets of lights, red and white. The white has multiple settings of dim, semi dim, bright and super bright. Both red and white also have the flashing capabilities.Overall great purchase!

I needed a new headlamp to replace one from a big box store which broke easily. I chose this one because it has a separate switch for the red light. I am an amateur astronomer, and I use a red light when I am observing to protect my night vision when reading star maps and eyepiece focal lengths. It takes about 30 mins for your eyes to become dark-adapted, and thus able to see very faint deep sky objects. A flash of white light ruins night vision for another 20-30 mins, and my previous headlamp had to cycle through 3 white light settings just to get to red, and this was a nuisance to me and anyone who was observing with me. THIS headlamp allows me to switch on the red light without any possibility of turning on the white light, and I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for my wife.Enough about red light, now I'll tell you what I like about the white light. I had to do some work in the attic, and I used this headlamp to see what I was doing in the dark attic. It starts of with the brightest white light setting at first one when you press the white light switch. If you quickly press the switch again it goes to a dimmer setting for longer battery life if you're going to have it on for an extended period. There are 3 brightness levels which can be accessed by pressing the switch again within about 5 seconds. I am very pleased to tell you that you don't have to cycle through all these brightness levels to turn it off, because after being on in any brightness mode for more than 5 seconds results in it simply switching off with ONE press of the switch. All this and a LIFETIME WARRANTY for an incredibly low price. Stop looking now and buy this one -- you won't be disappointed.

After 3 emails begging for a review, yeah i'll give you one. This light is the same as most others on amazon. I bought the Luxolite as well and they are the exact same product! They are both mediocre at best. They are made of cheap plastic and dont feel as though they are made to last. I felt like I was going to break it when I opened it for the batteries. This light does throw the beam a good ways but I was hoping for more of a flood vs a throw. I wish It was made more of a polymer or injection molded plastic with a good seal. I would have been willing to spend much more if I knew it would be more durable. I dont suspect this will last that long, and if you buy one they will pester you with emails. cheers

Nice and bright!11-08-2018 UPDATEMaybe mine had a manufacturing flaw but, when I tried to pivot the light with it's hinge, it popped off it's mount, and splitting open scattering pieces and the batteries around. Good thing my dog had a lighted safety vest on, as that light helped me to gather up all the pieces, and reassemble the head light. Upon inspecting the mount, one of the plastic pins of the hinge had a deformity that would allow the light to come apart upon swiveling it. |Not good, and I'm now just a few days OUT of the return window. This SUCKS. Changing my review marks DOWN.

Disappointed that this headlight broke within a couple of weeks of my gifting it to my husband (within a few uses). Neither of us dropped it but some of the plastic broke on a hinge, likely just while we changed the angle. Brightness is good but not stellar.In the photos I attempted to show the broken piece that must click into the hole of the lamp.Because it was Christmas and my husband had asked for headlights I had also purchased the "GRDE Zoomable 3 Modes Super Bright LED Headlamp with Rechargeable Batteries, Car Charger, Wall Charger and USB Cable" which has been outstanding in brightness and durability (though, as I mentioned, we have not dropped or misused the equipment). It has performed above our expectations and we are happy that it can be charged in the car as well.I paid full price for both items - I am not an advertiser for either company. I would just like others to know my experience.

As a trail runner, I've tried a few different headlamps, and I have to say this one is my favorite that I keep going back to. It's the brightest of them all, and perfect for those dark trail runs at night. It allows me to see rocks and roots far enough ahead of me that I don't fall (where other headlamps have failed in the past)! It also does not bounce when you run, and the strap is easily adjustable. The buttons are simple to operate as well. I highly recommend!

I used the nyteBright T6 Headlamp for the first time a week ago when my son and I hiked Lassen Volcanic National Park. There was very little moonlight and we had to rely heavily on the light provided by this headlamp. It was Phenomenal! The light shined brighter and deeper into the woods than the alternate (police flash light) we brought with us. The adjustable brightness was perfect; offering brightest light when needed and lower light when moving around the camp. The fit and headband allowed for comfortable placement without moving and without having to be tight and uncomfortable. I forgot I had it on my head a few times.

Firstly, this is a great torch. Very bright, very usable. Adjustable angle, everything I wanted for fishing. I couldn't be happier with that.However... battery life is a nightmare. If I leave batteries in the torch, they flatten within a day.If I use the torch, I'll get about 2 or 3 hours of usage out of it before the light is too dim to use.I have to carry 2 sets of batteries for one evening's use, so I'd have to say that this isn't a great purchase.I have other "cree" torches (not head torches, just normal hand ones) that use 3 AAA batteries instead of the 2 that this uses, and they last for a LONG time, which is why I wanted to try something similar here.For this reason, I would recommend avoiding this torch.

I received this product only a few days ago and have played around with it a fair bit. Seems very bright and I like the fact the torch tilts so as not to blind others! Love the wee whistle that came too and impressed that batteries were included. This will be coming with me to Mongolia shortly and I am confident it will shine a bright path for me :) (I put four stars as not been in action with it yet)

Excellent. Great value for money too. Very bright CREE LED bulb which has different brightness settings. The twin reds focus on front of you as well. Would highly recommend. Owen

Very useful for lambing at night

When switched off the torch is still draining the batteries which means it’s dead next time you come to use it. Contacted the supplier and they didn’t reply of want to help
