Gates K070701 V-Ribbed Belt

Perfect replacement for my 07 Accord EX-L 4cyl. Just turned over 200k and was still running on the original belt that finally started to crack at the ribs. Figured this Gates belt would give me at least another 100k. A word of note, the tensioner does hold a lot of pressure. A good 14mm wrench with some length is needed to release the pressure. In my case, I had to stack one wrench on another to get enough leverage. Once the other pulleys are routed with the new belt, it is also easier to leave the tensioner pulley as the last one since it has smooth edges.

I changed it by myself, but took very long time to figure out how. It is a perfect replacement; the new belt looked a little shorter than the old one simply because the old one wore out, so do not worry about it.It is easy to install if you know how; loose the pully, fit right in. the price is affordable, the belt quality is great.Safety advice: wear gloves, wear gloves, wear gloves.

A good belt that takes a beating during several attempts at installation and remains in new condition...2006 Honda Accord 4 cyl. : If you do not have a hefty box wrench to compress the tensioner you will need to remove the right side motor mount. Four bolts and a half hour later: success.

So I just installed this on my 2003 accord ex 4 cylinder. Replaced cheap bando brand belt. Rattling noise went away but must give it some time and will get back to this review.

Purchased this belt for my daughters 2005 Honda Accord. Easy install, perfect fit. Cannot review endurance since only driven small amount of miles since purchased.

Easy to install, perfect fit and simply goes round and round. I replace mine every 100K and these could probably go 200K. But why risk a breakdown over a simple belt. Quiet and reliable, just like me.

Fit my 2004 Honda Accord (Japanese built) perfectly. Took about 30 minutes to install. Recommend you have a partner with you to hold tension on the belt as you route it through the pulleys.
