RussoundP75 2 X 60W Amplifier

After being in place for a few weeks, this box developed audio dropouts. With a low level RCA input from a flat screen TV driven by a cable box, the amp would switch out the audio (and the TV audio would continue). It took a while to determine if it was perhaps a bad speaker, bad wiring, bad TV, bad cable box, or bad coax, but it was the amp (unenclosed and in manual mode). I replaced the amp with another I had and the problem disappeared from the system.This is the very first item I have ever bought as a Warehouse Deal that did not work. Warehouse Deals are usually rock solid; somebody does a good job checking out returns, but this amp showed problems only after thoroughly warming up. Except for that glitch, this amp was really nice, smooth, gradual, and artifact free. I REALLY didn't want to return this, but it happens...

Mine lasted a year an a half…and I would used it once a month…so get a warranty or buy something more reliable!

Perfect amplifier for our Zone 2 speakers on a speaker switching system for 3 rooms and our deck. Even with all 4 sets of speakers switched on, we can keep the amplifier at 50% and it’s plenty loud for comfortable listening. But it does not include any tone controls do the signal is a little flat in the midrange area. If I routed this to an additional EQ it time control, it would be perfect! But I still recommend it for any multi room application where you need a separate amplifier to power alternate speaker sets!

The instructions say to use line in 1 if you only have a single input source, but doing this causes a clicking sound as it tries to switch back and forth between input 1 and 2. Moved the single input to line in 2 and no more clicking.

We use this amplifier to power two sets of small bookshelf speakers, one set in our den and a second set of outdoor speakers on our deck. The speaker wire was already installed in the house so preferred to use it rather than go wireless. The Russound P75 provides plenty of power for both sets of speakers to play at the same time. We hooked up a Bluetooth receiver to the input so we can stream from our iPhones directly to the Russound. It is a perfect set up for us. We didn't need all the extra stuff of a receiver, just an amplifier to power some speakers with an input to connect a Bluetooth receiver to.

Beware to all who purchase Russound products on Amazon. I purchased this amplifier in March and it worked fine for 3 months. Then one day it stopped working. I heard a “pop” and then noticed a burnt smell and some smoke. I spoke with Russound and they said that because I purchased it on Amazon they would not warranty it. There are dozens of Russound products being sold on Amazon by numerous 3rd party sellers and by Amazon themselves. I don’t think I should have to check a companies website to see if they provide warranty service based on who sells the product. In this case it seems that Russound is happy to put the consumer in the middle of their political and distribution issues. Quite clearly, by seeing how many companies are selling on Amazon, they have absolutely no clue how to manage their national distribution. This is their issue, not the consumers. Shame on you Russound. I’ve enjoyed using many of your products over the years but this crappy Chinese made amplifier you put your name on will be the last.I will contact Amazon to see if they will help me or accept this as a delayed return. I'm pretty sure that Amazon will make it right....but we'll see.

Had the first amp installed in 2013 powering 2 pairs of speakers. After 8 years of flawless operation, it just stopped working one day. Bought a replacement here in April 2021 and just walked into the room to the smell of smoke. This one is gone now, also. Very disappointed as this is really the best amp (spec-wise) for my setup. For what it's worth, I do have another of this model in another area of my home since 2013 (powering only one set of speakers) and it's performing flawlessly (knock on wood...).

The amp has enough power to run a pair of Polk Audio RT55I, but I was hoping for more bass. There's no treble and bass control.

Buena marca, pero la calidad en sus canales de salida no son muy buenos, al menos al conectarlo a excelentes bocinas.

Funciona adecuadamente detecta bien la señal en modo automático, lo esperaba de un tamaño más compacto , construcción robusta de buena calidad, la entrada para los conectores banana se agradece facilitan la conexión, la luz LED indicadora de funcionamiento es demasiado brillante, muy buena opción el que se puedan manejar dos fuentes diferentes con su botón interruptor A-B.
