theBalmTimeBalm Face Primer

This product makes the foundation glide on more evenly and creates a more youthful appearance but then disappears and doesn't make my face feel greasy and it doesn't make my foundation disappear quicker during the day as some other products I have used. This is not a moisturizer as some of the primers. If you want a moisturizer you need to use that first then use this product between that and the foundation. I like that! I get to pick out the best moisturizer for the conditions at the moment. I like to use a different one at different times and adjust the moisture as my face needs less or more but this product I can use with each one - winter, summer and in-between. Anyway, I really like this product and since every time I go to the store to purchase they seem to be out of it, a lot of other people seem to like it too. Hope this helps!

I've been using this primer a long time. This is great alone, or just with powder.

I have been searching for a primer for mature skin and my search is officially over. I have used smashbox and Laura Geller Spackle but this one is by far my favorite. It doesn't dry out your skin and helps to minimize pores and fine lines. It also helps to save on foundation because I used half of what I normally use with this primer. My skin was so pretty even without the cc cream that I was tempted to go without anything else on top of it. This is one of my favorite brands ever. I am going to trying their foundation in the near future.

I love TimeBalm primer. It is probably my favorite primer for use under MakeUp smoothing of my skin and preparing my skin for the mineral makeup I use. However, the size... it comes in the tiniest container with not much in it. It's like I'm using a sample and for $28.50, I just can't afford to use this one. Not to mention that it seems like I am always out of it. And, to add to this, the store I was buying it from stopped carrying it so I now have to go through the trouble of ordering it. Have I said too much?

I worked in cosmetics for 5 years, so have tried just about all primers out there. I have extreme combination skin, so super oily in the t-zone and super dry in the cheeks. A lot of products tend to cake on my cheeks and look terrible. I tried this because I like the brand a lot, and I was very happy with it. It worked well with my different makeup brands/types (sometimes powder, sometimes liquid, etc.), and my makeup stayed on all day. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I occasionally get a little caking up on my cheeks, but usually only at the end of the day, and also it tends to be when I didn't wash my face that morning. So it's more my fault than anything, but I'm on the hunt for something that will work for my skin even when I don't!

The end of the tube was damaged. It’s so weird because the box that came with the package are intact and in good condition.This is the second time that it has happened. I didn’t give a fuss the first time because the damage on the tube is not as bad as the recent one. Please be more attentive with your product’s packaging quality. Thanks!

TheBalm products have not disaapointed me. This primer does what it says and helps my foundation go on smoothly and stay on! I have normal skin and my sister with real oily skin did mention that she had to use a bit of powder to help with shine by mid-day. I have even worn this alone and it does help to reduce pore size (I have large pores) and give a smooth appearance. I have tried other products and this primer is by far the best. A little goes a long way, so this generous tube is well worth it for the price!
