TurboTorch 0426-0011 TDLX2003MC Torch Kit Swirl, Air Acetylene

It's a nice compact kit. A nice alternative to lugging oxy / acetylene. It does take longer to braze though than oxy / acetylene. I would recommend this kit up to 7/8 inch copper. My guess is it would work on 1 inch as well, but would be slower.

This tourch set is small and compact which is perfect for bring up into tight attics or on roof tops. Been using this for HVAC installations for the past year and what it lacks in heat and power it makes up with size and weight. Great product.

Very simple, compact & does the job. I thought the small tank might be a problem with capacity but so far I've done a lot of fittings & still have plenty of gas left. Very quick shipping.

Very light and easy to transport. Takes a little longer to heat and that translates on piping over 7/8. Probably not great for copper piping over an inch.

I’ve been using this more than 3 months in A/C installment, it’s very easy to use. The only thing I would like to have is pockets on tank holder for rods and other small tools

Hvac must have, also use oxy/acet on larger diameter suction lines or on installs. Uses more acetylene but much nicer going up ladders and through roof hatches when all you need is a New filter drier/pressure switch/true suction repair

I was under the impression for some reason that this carrier would fit an acetylene B tank. The description does not provide clarification. Needless to say I am very disappointed as it only fits an A tank.

Light weight! Easy to carry!

This Product only fits MC acetylene tanks. Purchased this and paid $400+ $18 for shipping and $46 for customs fee. I chose to return it. Please be wary of the fact that in Canada it is relatively difficult to source affordable MC tanks which fit this and the price per liter of acetylene may be worse than if you are trying to have a B tank filled depending on the vendor. Didn't test it so I don't know if it leaks or anything.Product arrived quickly with the exterior of the box being badly damaged. Everything inside was fine because the torch tips are packaged in hard plastic. I used the Amazon's recommended carrier for return and am still waiting for refund. Will update when I know more. Be warned that when you return you will initially receive a 1 cent refund for the customs (I didn't expect to get the customs fee back). This is separate from the product refund which will you will be in the dark about until the product has been at their facility for 14 days.
