I was looking for a helmet to teak my kids how to ice skate that was not necessarily a hockey helmet. This is perfect and acceptable by rinks as a skirting helmet. Great price point, and cool colors! Fits as specified.

4 yr old loves the helmet and matches his bike pads perfectly. Was for his 4th birthday. He wears 5t and size 12 shoes and the helmet is just a tad too big but fits great with a little adjustments which is great meaning it will last longer. It is also well made and looks like it can take a bearing.

I purchased this for my 4 year old son who wears size 6 clothing. The helmet slides back even when I add the extra little padding. I figured it would be a little big when I ordered it my only issue or that my son says the strap is uncomfortable especially when I try to secure it tightly to prevent it from slipping back. It will work ok for scooting.

I purchased two of these, one for each of my kids. I have a hard time finding bike helmets for kids who are no longer toddlers but not ready for adult helmets in the big box stores. After looking in three or four different stores, I gave up and came to Amazon. I was not disappointed! These helmets are super quality and comfortable. My kids wear helmets every time they are on wheels: no questions asked! Good buy. Prime shipping is simply an added convenience and I would have probably ordered it anyway.

Great helmet for the price. Seems sturdy and really protective. The blue color is sharp but shows scratches really easy so if it’s for a child that might drop it a lot when putting it on or taking off, maybe consider a color that won’t show scratches as easy.Also, getting it to fit properly so it doesn’t slide forward or backward on child’s head is a bit tricky, since it only has adjustment in chin strap (hence only 4 star rating).Overall, pleased with the purchase and good value.

We bought this product for our 6 yr old grandson who is just a tad small for his age and who has a fairly small head. With some adjustments, he barely made the lowest end of it fitting, and he will have much time to grow into it.Some additional padding comes with it if these adjustments don't work for you. I can't promise that the padding stays in place because we didn't have to try, but it looks reasonable and like that it might last a little while. That said, buying a helmet that requires too much adjustment isn't much good either, and it would be better to stick with a slightly smaller unit.Our grandson loves it. It is exactly as it looks like in the pictures with a satin sheen to it instead of high gloss. That means that any slight scratches that might happen as a child drops it on the pavement to run into the house won't show up easily and the helmet should look good for along time. I fully expect that short of leaving it somewhere, he should still have it in 5 years.Now if they'd make this in one size smaller and in pink, we would also impress our granddaughter with one as well.

Got this helmet for my son. The helmet slides back on his head a lot. I've tried to adjust the straps several times but the helmet insists on sliding backwards. It doesn't fit his head as well as I had hoped but perhaps he'll grow into it.

Like many of the other reviewers, I found this helmet to be slightly big for my four year old. He's average sized for a boy his age. My daughter is seven, and it fits her perfectly. We really like the helmet itself. It's comfortable and the color looks cool. I think we're going to keep it, and it will last him for a long time.
