good value - functions well
I have not used these too much so i haven't tested them against higher torque ratings or an impact gun (i know you're not supposed to) It has decent wobble when put into a socket. It's not as universal as say a universal joint, but it's more solid and I like it better b/c when you reach in tight spaces you can maneuver much easier than a universal, which can bend out of shape and you have to pull back and put it at the right angle again...One neat feature i like is that you can press it in at two levels with a socket. if you push the socket in all the way, it locks it and it will not wobble. there is a square section that goes firmly into the socket. If you pull it out a tad, then it acts like a wobble extension.another benefit of this kit is that all 4 pieces are useful. they give you two 3/8 one of normal length and another double. The 1/4 size is awesome and is very useful as is the 1/2 size. Normally when you get a kit like this only 2/4 units are useful, but for me all 4 are useful. would recommend to anyone...

Great set of extensions
I first saw wobble + extensions (as the more expensive tool companies call them) a few years back when a mechanic friend let me use one on my car - I wanted one immediately but at 50 bucks a PIECE for each extension I said no.I found these and they are a great value - I've used and abused this set now for a solid 6 months and haven't broken any of them. These take up so much less space in tight spaces then trying to use the old style wobble bits - yes they don't have as extensive of an angle that they can operate at but the angle they do offer is very functional.I use these as basically my first extensions that get grabbed - from torquing wheels and head studs to more they haven't let me down once and the wobble and click down for straight drive is indispensable when doing removal/install of so many fasteners.Buy these - you wont be disappointed - these sit right next to my ratcheting wrenches as the best money I've spent in my garage

It's a combo Wobble and straight extensions
These are great but depends how much pressure you need to be putting on you nuts - these can be used as straight extensions by pushing the socket all the way on to the extension. You can see a little flat ridge on the square end - where it meets the round shaft - there is a flat/square slot that, when you push the socket solidly onto the extension - it locks in that slot and locks the socket/extension into solid/straight position. In some ways it can be a pain in the a$$ when you are trying to use the wobble end and end up pushing the socket onto the nut - and inadvertently lock the extension to the socket = no wobble. Hassle to correct sorta - need to get a hand on that extension and pull the socket out a just a little til you feel a click to get back to the wobble part of the extension. G

3/8 drive broke
These work great for low torque situations. However, the 3/8 drive broke the first time I tried to breakover a hydraulic connection. It didn't snap in two though, just the retaining ball fell out so the wobble head must have been a little distorted. The connection required a 7/8" crowfoot and the wobble extension on a long ratchet to break loose. Not bad tools for the money though, and I like AmPro stuff.

Design Failure
The extensions appear to be well made. The problem I have is in the design of the wobble end. Just past the wobble part, the shaft is cut square to the size of the drive. When you push on the drive to keep the socket on the head of the bolt, the socket slides on to this square cut area and locks the socket streight on to the shaft. It is now not a wobble drive anymore, but just a locked, streight extension. Very frustrating! Someone over thought this and destroyed the whole of idea of the wobble by adding this square cut area. You can just make out the square cut area in the pictures. Do not buy this wobble set. I have used wobble drives for 40 years, and this is a very bad design failure.

This is a very good set.
I purchased this set for work. The first thing I did was give the 1/4" extension more than it (or any other 1/4" extension) could handle and it broke. I sent it to AmPro and received a replacement within a week, no questions asked. I am very impressed with the way these work. You can use the wobble or push the extension all the way into the socket and use it solid. I recommend this product without reservation.

Good quality.
The quality seems very good. The sockets slide on and off easily. Fair amount of wobble. This is a second set that will be dedicated for my off-road tool box. The true test will be if it breaks while lying on my back in mud under a car.

Little too stiff.
1 of the extensions is really stiff and hard to remove for the socket.
