I believe the two previous reviews are a little harsh and not based on actual usage of this item. I bought two of these at the same time a year ago and they have not broken in any way. They have held up to heavy usage. I have three home-educated young boys so we are a family of five and they get heavy use DAILY since they are in and out of the house all day. I initially bought two of these and am now buying a third one. We keep them just outside the kitchen door which leads to the garage and try to put all of our shoes for the entire family on them. I agree that it could be made stronger and I would prefer that, BUT, for a twenty-two dollar price-point one cannot expect that kind of quality. Having said that, for the twenty-two dollars each, the quality is representative. We use it heavily, but we do not abuse it. We do take good care of it. We have not had any shoe holders break out of 24 (two racks times 12 each). The hooks at the bottom snap on and off so you can space them where you want. I do not use them that much. The top corners of our racks are fastened directly to our garage wall and not over a door so it is sturdy that way. I gave five stars, not because it is a perfect product, but because the price and quality are consistent with each other and it has met those standards for us with no defects or breaking in the year we have used them. Now I am back to purchase another one.

Easy enough to assemble. took me about 10 minutes and didn’t need any tools. The hooks in the bottom are great for bags and purses and other things I usually leave lying around in the floor. They just clip on, so I wouldn’t put too much weight on them, but they’ll suffice. The hooks were not wide enough to fit over my heavier front door, so it’s hanging on a closet door, which I was mildly annoyed about. But for $20 it’s fine.

The rack was easy to assemble despite the minimal pictorial instructions. Unfortunately when I went to hang it on the back of the closet door I discovered that the bottom brace was lining up with the door knob. The rack is too wide to position it next to the door knob. I also tried it on the back of the bedroom door but had the same issue. Maybe I could modify it to work but that seems like something I shouldn't have to do with something I just bought. So back in the box it goes.

It's really easy to put together and even easier to get up and ready to use. Not bad at all for the money you pay for it!

but I didn't measure and had to return this--too wide for my door. It would have served my purpose, but the construction didn't seem to be incredible sturdy.

Good quality and well built. Unfortunately it was too big for my closet door and had to return it.

I feel like we will have to baby this item to keep it from breaking but appears to be a better product than we had.

Ordered this to use to organize my scarf instead of shoes. Worked great. Easy to put together. Even put my belts at bottom
