Henschel Breezer Hat with Coolmax Band, Olive, Large

Wow, this is one comfortable hat! I had to reorder, because my head is kinda on the edge of Large to Extra Large (I wound up with the large). Heavy duty material, real leather strap, rain resistant out of the box. The stretch headband is super comfortable. Yay, It's MADE IN THE USA!! And the cost is VERY reasonable for the quality you get. If I ever need another, I'll be buying a Henschel hat.

I don’t wear hats much, but this one really impressed me! Fits well, not too heavy, and the Coolmax band is super (I’m a heavy sweater)! I wear it mainly when walking my dog in the woods, where there’s always bugs, spider webs, pine needles, and other tree droppings. This hat protects me, looks good, and repels water and dirt like a champ. Highly recommend!

Great hat, I replaced a Henschel hat that I had for 10+ years. I lost my back pack on our return trip from Dominican Republic and hat was in it This newer version is lighter and more comfortable. I recommend the hat and company shipped as described, but it took about 8-10days from order date for it to arrive (July4th holiday). I am impatient and spoiled by prime delivery.

Impressed with this hat. Bought a different brand too and the Henschel hat is much nicer. CoolMax Band is nice feature. Ordered Large and it fits well. Other brand we ordered was a medium size and that hat fit OK as well. This hat is more of an actual khaki color where the other brand's khaki looked more green. Nice wooden bead looks nicer than just a knot. No complaints about this hat. Husband wears hat this at work and said he may want to order another to wear in the yard. Highly recommend.

Took​ a couple of trys but, I finally got one that fits. I normally wear an XL but, the first was way too big so, I exchanged it for a Large. Much too small. Reordered an XL in a different color from a different vendor. Fits perfectly. Well made hat and very comfortable too. Workmanship and materials seem to be top notch. Sizing is somewhat strange but, prepaid returns make it a little easier to find the right size.

I bought this hat for a recent vacation to San Francisco area. It packed well and held up the whole trip. I am fair skinned and wanted a wide-brimmed hat to protect my face, neck, and ears from the sun. The sizing is pretty much spot on (measure your head accurately before ordering) and the hat was very comfortable for an entire day's wear. We spent a lot of time in San Jose and Santa Cruz where the temps were in the 80s and a lot of sun. The hat kept my head cool, wicked the sweat, and I didn't get burned. I did use sun block, but worried less about re-application every 80 minutes on my face, ears and neck than I did for my arms and legs.I haven't needed to wash the hat yet, but will take the necessary precautions to try and quickly dry the brim due to it having a wire inside. I hope to use this hat for several summers.

I originally purchased a similar cheaper hat that was shipped in a manila envelope and was crushed when removed from the package. I found the construction flimsy and the mesh has creases galore that I cannot remove.Total waste of money.Looked again at Amazon and found this Henschel Breezer hat. It arrived double boxed and the hatwas wrapped in plastic.Looked GREAT.....felt GREAT on my head, too. Definitely a quality hat that I will be wearing on anAfrican Safari soon.Plus, the Henshel Breezer is made in the USA ! Thanks Henschel.

My husband's summer hat was finally wearing out and needed to be replaced. I thought I was a picky shopper but nothing met his stringent requirements - and we've been looking for years now!! Once we found this one, I bought him two so we won't have to look again for years to come. He's thrilled with the product and he looks terrific in it! (Now if we could just find winter/hunting boots to fit his 4E feet I could be very happy!)
