Bright &functional
The ball shape is a lot brighter and illuminated quicker than the coiled fluorescent lamps of the same power and output. I've dated the lamps and will record the life of the bulbs. The dead bulbs were fitted in 2018. Six years for energy bulbs is quite a good saving compared to filament bulbs.. unfortunately the same seller didn't have a listing for repurchase, so I have obtained similar bulbs from other sources on Amazon

Small prize for a very bright bulb. Easy to install. I bought thinking might need two or three to fully brighten the room but one bulb is enough.

Size not as stated
Purchased these as I needed a bulb no longer than conventional bulbs. These stated they were 109mm long (perfect). Speedy delivery but in excess of 120mm and don’t fit within my shade.Returned. Looked nice though.

Wouldn't say they're 100w equivalent
On the plus side - they work. This surprised me as they arrived in a box with no protection around the bulbs and the Amazon delivery driver just threw the box down on the porch and left (without knocking). It does say in the description that they're 100w equivalent but I'd put them more at 60w. They must be pretty sturdy to have survived the rough treatment and lack of packaging. All in all good value for money, would just have preferred them to be brighter.
