Great for projects and is high quality magnesium. Hopefully they will carry longer rods some day.

These works great for making Hydrogen water. The chemical reaction creates some dark residue on the rods but just soak in white vinegar for 20 seconds and it's all clean. They will also react with rubber and other materials if you put them on a drying rack, for example. I clean and dry them immediately then store them in glass or on paper towel.

I was really hoping this was what it is described as. I’m no scientist but I followed the directions many different times and got the same results:/I hope I am wrong but these are not good safe and not pure 99.9

While I like the thickness and length of the rods, the fact that they are not individually wrapped means that I need them together instead of spreading them out.

When I made hydrogen water with these rods there was no left over toxic black oxides like with other brands of magnesium rods from Amazon. Stick with these if you are making hydrogen water. The 99.99% purity claims of other brands are belied by the gross black oxide that they make.

What a relief to have a source of mg high enough quality to use safely for H2. I've wasted soooo much money and time taking a chance with inferior sticks that turn black after use. With this product there are zero black stains after cleaning with vinegar. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH.

I use these bars to make hydrogen water and have been getting 5ppm of hydrogen consistently. I have used magnesium bars from other suppliers that have turned black. These bars stay clean

The media could not be loaded.  My order originated from China instead of HK (Hong Kong) and that caused some concern and eventually a large confusion, as I got a sample delivered of magnesium bars that I wasn't expecting from China delivered on the same day.Rest assured, this reseller is providing high quality magnesium that I believe is safe for the making and consumption of molecular hydrogen.P.S. If your rods turn black (as the first rods I got from another reseller did) DO NOT USE THEM. There is 2 tests you can perform to test your magnesium,1. place it in vinegar, if it turns dark its not pure.2. File some magnesium off and light it, it should burn bright white like a sparkler that kids light and wave around on the forth of July.
