Salzmann Reflective Backpack Cover | Waterproof Hi-Vis

I really like this product and consider it a must-have for anyone commuting on two wheels. I use it regularly while riding both my e-bike and my motorcycle to work and around town, and it has performed flawlessly. First and foremost, it does an excellent job of keeping my backpack and all of its contents completely dry when it starts raining. Beyond the waterproof protection, the visibility it provides is outstanding. It is bright, highly reflective, and makes you incredibly visible to drivers, especially in low-light or foul-weather conditions. Carrying a backpack can often block the reflective elements on the back of your riding jacket, so having this bright cover completely eliminates that safety blind spot. It has definitely helped keep me feeling safe and seen on the road, and I highly recommend it for anyone who rides with a pack.

The comfort this gives me when my husband rides his bike is great. Makes me feel better people can see the reflective backpack cover. Size and veracity of offering several sizes are great. It fits any standard bookbag, he has a Jansport and it scrunches around that well. Waterproof works as it should, no more damp or soggy bookbags. Zipper quality is good, as expected. Value for money is great, we love this product

This fits my back pack perfectly and I love that it provides protection from the rain. It’s better adding a reflector to your back pack so people can see you. Wearing an actual vest isn’t as helpful unless you take your back pack off. I use this when I ride my scooter and it attaches easily and does not fly off. It is very well made and is durable.

I bought yellow size Large for a 40-liter pack that measures 21" top-to-bottom where it touches my back. The cover fit well when the pack was 1/2 full. When the pack was very full, the cover is not big enough. In the picture you can see that it pulls down and exposes the top of the pack to rain. Measuring over the arc--over the load--with a fabric tape, the pack is 33" but the cover is only 29.5". I used the Large for a year. I bicycle commute in the rain all winter. The cover kept me visible in traffic and it kept my office clothes dry if I didn't stuff the pack. I kept using it in the summer for visibility. I recently started carrying more stuff. That gap in coverage at the top became a problem, as the pack has a pocket there for my phone and wallet. So I bought an orange size XL. It's a better fit when the pack is really full.

I keep this cover in my backpack which I use for commuting. We get unexpected rainstorms and the contents of my pack usually got drenched. Not with this cover, it really keeps things dry. And while my colleagues laugh at me when I put it on due to its very high visibility, it's great for when I am walking home late in the evening. I lent this to a friend who went on a multi-day hike. Perfect cover solution for our small to medium sized Eagle Creek backpack. We like to pack light and be mobile with our multi-leg air travel adventures. A Travelon 'under the seat roll-a-board' and our medium sized Eagle Creek backpack are our go to travel companions. With high quality straps (2) which are better designed and run left to right (or East to West) instead of top to bottom (or North to South). Thus the Salzmann straps don't impede the use of the handle at the top of the back pack, which is key when boarding a plane. With the Salzmann cover we can keep the fabric on the backpack clean; tuck the straps out of the way, and the slippery fabric makes for ease in sliding maneuverability. The photos tell the whole story. I bought the orange colour and had been using it when riding at night or raining. Wraps around my backpack nice and snug (I measured my backpack to make sure it fits). The elastic of the wrap works well and the buckle strap can be further tightened as well. Material is definitely waterproof. Took a photo with flash in the dark to show how it would look like when a car has it’s headlights on it. Definitely worth having for it’s price. Increases the likelihood of a driver seeing you on the road while riding at night. No regrets buying this and seems like it is made well and will last for a while if used with care. I won’t hesitate to buy this again even if I need to replace it every 6-12 months (probably will last longer than that).

防水性能が高いため、バイクのサイドカバーの上から被せて使用し不意の雨対策としました。ツーリング中の雨に対しサイドカバーの表側は防水ルックカバーの性能のおかげで全く濡れませんでしたが裏側は車輪からの水で濡れました。また、反射は夜やトンネル内での識別にとても効果的で良い商品です。

It just fitted snugly over my 5.11 Rush 72 pack. Nice and bright and hard wearing.

Brilliant addition for any cyclist or walker. Keeps the bag dry and is reflective at night. With two securing straps it is not going to come off while cycling.

I just got a Lululemon 28 litre backpack (second hand) and this cover turns it into the perfect high visibility, reflective accessory. I've included pics so you can see that it fits this bag perfectly. There's still some room for a bit larger pack. The cover has clasps to hold it across the back and they aren't uncomfortable as I wear it. It folds nicely and fits easily in a side pocket when not in use. I don't know yet how it holds up for water proofness, but the material feels like it would be reasonable for a few hours in a medium rain. It's exactly what I wanted at a good price.
