Great for Hair Removal!
I am a novice to the waxing process (I have had it done professionally, but have never tried it myself), so I learned a lot through using these beans on myself! It melted very easily. I stirred it a couple of times to make sure that the beans were melting evenly, then used an applicator to apply it to areas of my face that needed a little TLC ;)My initial result was not very successful, which I presume was due to the unevenness/thinness of my application. However, on my second time, when I was a bit more generous and even, it did a great job at stripping the hair. It dried pretty quickly on my skin, and even though it hurt (as does all wax hair removal!), it was easy to remove. I couldn't find muslin fabric to use as an applicator, so I just applied it with a stick, then ripped it off with my hands. It worked! My skin felt really smooth after using, as well. I didn't notice any irritation, red spots, or other side effects, and the scent was great. I was also impressed that, despite the heat, it did not leave the skin on my face red, puffy, or inflamed. Usually when I wax at the salon, my skin is red for half an hour or more. It was hot, but did not burn or scald. It definitely beats plucking, and the hairs that did not come off immediately were able to be pulled out really quickly.Again, as a novice, I was really pleased with how easy it was to use and will definitely be using it again. It was a little stringy, but so are most waxes my salon lady uses. I also loved the blue color - it was pretty!I think my issues were due to inexperience, and that the next time I use it, it will go a lot faster and smoother. However, I really can't complain and feel like the instructions were great! Highly recommended.

Worst wax I’ve ever tried.
Worst wax ever. More like plastic super stringy and does not grab hair at all. Takes several times of going over an area to grab all the hairs. I tried on course hair fine hair and people who are regularly waxed. I would not recommend this to anyone ever. If I was able to give zero stars I would.

Works, but not without some pain!
Okay, so writing a review on a product that will give you smooth skin, but of course, requires ripping the hair out by the root (re: pain) is a bit difficult...first, you have to make sure the beans are not too hot when applying to your skin - don't want to burn your skin instead of removing the hair. I waited until my daughter could try this with me - a backup to make sure I was following directions and that we both understood the process as this was my first time trying this method. I did a test patch on the both of us to make sure it would not cause irritation. No redness or rash appeared after 30 minutes so we both worked a strip of leg at a time. She shaves more often than I do (being retired and not wearing dresses as I used to), so this was a great test of length and removal. It did appear that my leg hair came off easier (being longer and perhaps more trapped in the wax) than did spots on my daughter's leg. All in all, these wax beans work fine so long as you follow the instructions, especially on heating the beans. To keep your legs (and other areas) hair-free longer, these wax beans are worth it. Oh, and the four-stars is just because it does hurt to pull the hair out with the wax!

Wax On Wax Off
Honestly, I had no idea what wax beads were until I received this product. After many YouTube videos and carefully reading the instructions, I decided to try it. These beads are awesome, because you only use what you need and you don’t have to worry about wasting unused wax. I put a small handful inside my burner and it was ready within 20 minutes. I dipped the stick inside the pot, spread the wax on my designated area and peeled it off. It was super easy to use. This is definitely a money-saver, because I don’t have to pay for waxing now. I can easily do it at home. Overall, such a great product, it melts and peels off easily and it has a pleasant scent while warming. I would highly recommend.

Not a fan
These wax beads look, feel and smell like plastic and they do not grab the hair well no matter how thick you go: I had to go over one area several times and still had stray hairs left behind. Not at all a fan.

Works to remove coarse hairs
Directions: I don’t like that the directions don’t tell you how much wax to use or how long it will take to warm up. This wax is for salon use (that’s what it says on the bag). I’m assuming the directions are vague because most salons already know how to use wax.Warming the wax up: I warmed the wax up stove top on medium heat. It only took a few minutes for the wax to warm. Once the wax was warmed, it had some thickness to it and looked pretty much exactly how it should.Using the wax: This is a peel off wax. It honestly doesn’t hurt as bad as other waxes that I have tried. However, the wax did irritate my skin.Personally, I like the type of wax that you take off with strips. I don’t like peeling the wax off my skin because it always irritates my legs. This might be ok for someone who prefers to peel wax off the skin. I can’t see it being good for anyone with sensitive skin.Overall, the wax work to remove my hairs (which I should mention are coarse), but I must have some type of allergy to the ingredients because my skin was very irritated afterwards.

I realized I don’t like waxing
I didn’t realize this was just the wax, so I melted it in the microwave slowly in 10 second intervals till it melted. I then used a popsicle stick to smooth it on my leg (I couldn’t imagine this on my miss stache or god forbid my bikini area) it was hot, it stuck to the hair and my skin. I let it cool enough to pull off in one piece and ouch that wasn’t what I was expecting. It did rip out some of the hairs, but I couldn’t bring myself to continue. I’m sure if your choice is to wax, these work ok. This was my first & last experience with waxing.
